King Steve i mean its kinda common sense to put it on correctly cause you know on the strap its has a "+" or "-" on it and it matches with the joycon and so do remotes (etc.) cause it shows how the battery suppose to go in it. 0:38 They took out the blur effect from the original video when pulling out the Joy-con strap. Good. Now I can see how rough or smooth it comes off. Although I noticed a jump cut right before it came off so they probably had to reshoot it a couple times to make it look like it comes off smooth because in actuality it comes off hard.

You don't have a Switch do you? If you don't force it they come off easily especially after a while. The cut was probably to shorten the video because they recorded for longer than necessary at that point. (They cut the other steps as well but those were more obvious since they were different positions.

the cut was just basic video splicing, they took the best shot of the guy holding the joycon and they took the best shot of him removing the strap. They probably did multiple takes of every little step so they could use the best clip of each step.

It's actually easier without using the button I think pressing the button is the reason why they feel like they are super hard to get off, because the metal slide on the inside of the strap gets caught on the edge of the plastic opening that the button makes Which is why there's a lock on the strap in the first place

I always thought i also had to push that small button that you also use to detatch them from the tablet, but it seems that unlocking them is enough and you can just pull them of. I will try to see if it makes removing them less hard, as i never used them as i don't want to damage the joy cons, witch are easy to put on and off the tablet/controler holder.
