I recommend linking your accounts across the two devices, and setting the lite as your primary actually. This ensures that you don't get the checks for connection at inconvenient times while out and about, and the secondary is home on wifi anyways at that point one would assume. Just a suggestion!

I've never bought a new game console, always used. This is the first new one for me. Couldn't pass up on the gold Zelda color scheme. Anytime they come out with gold consoles, they always hold all their value anyway, and for me the Switch Lite has really become my favorite handheld due to the small size and ergonomics. This is the only Switch Lite color scheme I've really liked so it's kind of a win win haha. Here's hoping they come out with some crazy bright colored special versions over the next year so they can rocket right past the PS2's all-time console sales record. I would definitely buy an Atomic Purple transparent Switch Lite or something similar

I think you would really enjoy Links Awakening if you enjoy echoes of wisdom and zelda games in general. LA has a very deep air of mystery and has really cool themes to it. Despite being more light hearted looking its quite melancholic and has a great world design to it. Link to the Past, the oracle games and the other 2D zelda games are amazing experiences all with their own unique takes on the series. Even Zelda 2 is an absolute banger if you dont let the difficulty wear you down. Great video as always

I had every iteration of the switch. Lite models, docked models. I can tell you there’s no comparison playing a game like Zelda on a TV as opposed to playing it handheld. The concept of switch is good, but most games are enjoyed old school style. This is especially true in an open world fantastic game that takes so many hours to complete.

I didn’t even try to preorder, I got mine at Target too, the morning it released. I love the game so far. It definitely has a moment or two where there’s a little frame rate stutter but the more I’ve played the less I’ve noticed it. It’ll probably creep up here and there in scenes with lots and lots going on but 🤷‍♂️. The Link’s Awakening remake is delightful. I loved that game as a kid on the original game boy and felt the remake was superbly done. If you like the puzzle-y vibe of Echoes, you’ll like Link’s Awakening and it’s a charming game by its own merits.

I have a lot of different consoles (Normal switch, oled switch, switch lite, ps1,2,3,4/pro/5, xbox/one/s/x, megadrive, SNES etc. Etc.) but the switch lite is the best. It such a smooth and light device. And it was already there in 2019. Way before all these modern mobile devices at a affordable price. On a road trip its the device to use.

Actually, my wife had the same problem ordering it from Target….So, she went to a different Target….Either way, it was a pain, yet worked out. I had both on time for my birthday! I love her. Teeeechnically, to be real safe, instead of using a straight-edged blade, I use my sharpest pocket knife to gently puncture a hole in the “handle” area of the case, but refrain from further using the knife, or ever touching the plastic with my blade. I recommend the Link's Awakening remake. It plays similar to this minus the echo ability, and it's more cryptic I would imagine in certain areas since it's an older game. It's one of the best Zelda games in my opinion, and the story has a weird vibe to it because I believe the dev team were inspired by the Twin Peaks TV show.

I work for Best Buy, so I pre-ordered mine at Best Buy. Thankfully, the Best Buy in my area didn't have similar issues. The pre-order bonus is pretty cute, if you want it, you can buy it for $10 if it is still in stock. I was in the same position as you when it came to getting the Switch Lite, I considered the Pokemon edition, but this was announced at the right time. There is an Oled mod that came out recently, and I highly recommend checking it out if you want to use the Lite since it might be more comfortable to use due to the reduced weight and the one-piece design, with no rails that the joycons can be loose on. They currently don't have the mod version I want in gold, but they do have it in the standard none-touch Oled mod version. Enjoy the game, and God bless!

Love Echoes of Wisdom. The Link’s awakening remake is the same look. This game was built using the same engine. Also, that stutter you mentioned is a thing. Digital Foundry is your friend when you want to see about all that in detail. I’m taking my time with the game. Exploring. Have fun with the game, eh!

The switch lite hyrule edition is so cool ! At first I didn't want it because, I already own a switch but then my brain made that scene in spongebob :"I don't need it, I don't need it, I definitely don't need it ... ... I NEED IIIIT !". AAAAND I bought it and I don't regret it, I feel like this is a better special edition than the TOTK special edition. Also after finishing Echoes of wisdom, if you liked the game, I would recommend Link's awakening. It's a cute little zelda game with a good vibe, good dungeons, likeable characters and a story that isn't much BUT there are very good moments that I don't want to spoil. Anyway, good video, always fun to see your new stuff and see your reaction about them. Like always, I leave a like !

Never got used to 2d Zelda games, is such a wild thing to hear as a longtime Zelda fan. But I'm enjoying this new Zelda game so much more than I expected to. The stutters are there, throughout the game. Which is unfortunate but the Switch just can't handle this properly, the same thing happens in Link's Awakening. Both should play much better in the upcoming Switch 2. Oh btw, no correlation between this and Link's Awakening, both are fun and adorable. Just play both at your own pace!
