That'd be cool, but the problem with that is that a lot of N64 games used IP from other companies. Nintendo had to pay to license those characters back in the 90s and 2000s, and they'd have to pay all those again to release those games on the switch. And, there's also no guarantee that the company would agree to it.

The guy that made this mod is called Cave, if one follows the guide correctly someday maybe someone will make the full nsp file. Some modders already done so with a dreamcast emulator ready with the top 20 games.

This actually gives me an excuse to play more emulated N64 games on Switch rather than on Wii U. Some N64 games are too finicky to play on my modded Wii U so I'm hoping the Switch is capable of playing said games at least slightly better or without them crashing every now and then. Really wish Capcom did a port of Resident Evil 3 for N64 back then though 😫

I wish I had such an amazing gamelist on Nintendo Switch Online, but since the catalog is very lacking I went on playing my favorite games on Project64 on PC. I recently bought the official Nintendo 64 controller to use it on PC. It was a pain to set it up due to Nintendo's security measures, but once I got it to work the whole Game library became available to play it with the original N64 controller.

We will never officially get a collection like this from NIN mainly due to licensing some of the games. Also, N64 emulation on switch is hit or miss.

Everything about this list is amazing and perfect....... that was until I saw Superman 64. No one should ever play that dumpster fire of a game. It should be tossed into the fires of hell and be forgotten. I all seriousness though, this video was amazing. If Nintendo does actually pull this of it will be monumental and blow everyone's minds. It's been said by everyone in this comment section, but still, this would genuinely give me a reason to buy the expansion pack. But alas it is just a dream and a wish.
