7:58 The old switch does NOT have the speakers on the back of the console. Those are air intakes that gets pushed out at the top of the switch vent to cool the switch from overheating. The speakers are in the front of the switch near the display. The new OLED model has the speakers at the lower part of the switch console.

I upgraded my 2017 switch today. I was lucky to get the last one at my local Target. My old switch’s battery was not cutting it anymore. It would drain quickly. Better battery life and an OLED screen was a worthy upgrade for me.

I never played my switch with a TV. That's what PS5 and Xbox Series X is for. Ironically I use the stand more than handheld for ultimate relaxation.

The jiggle of the joy cons hasn't actually beign addressed, there's a lot of complaints on Reddit about this issue. Also you have to use a piece of tape to avoid it and don't feel the left joycon wiggle alot.

I have both. The Oled is 10 times better than the OG one. You wont regret it.

You did not mention the screen while is made of glass the frame around the glass is made of metal which is impossible to be scratched by plastic. The stand is also made of some sort metal.

I just picked mine up from BestBuy curbside pickup, and now that I’m home…the box isn’t sealed just like in your video (I got the white too). I just find that peculiar, I can’t remember an item like this ever not having some type of security seal/sticker that must be cut to open. I’m one of those people where things like this bother me, I mean how do I know if anyone opened it, if it’s returned. Ugh

Did they finally add Bluetooth for those of us that like to headsets? And I think it's crazy that they didn't do a tad more redesign for the joy con's and fast charging definitely would have been nice since battery life really isn't better

So I should have mentioned that. They rolled out a software update so even the old models let you use a Bluetooth headset w/o an adapter.
