Nintendo Switch The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD Edition Joy-Cons Unboxing

Nintendo has released a new pair of special edition Joy-Cons for the Nintendo Switch, this time for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD! These are blue and purple, with one themed after the Master Shield and one after the Master Sword/Fi. They have really cool gold accents around the control sticks and buttons, as well as some other images on the Joy-Cons. These colors look great and I think these are some of the best Joy-Cons released so far. The only downside to these special edition controllers is that they often don't mix well with other color combinations. But even still, there are some good combos you can make and they look great as is. Enjoy the unboxing!

I just got the OLED but unfortunately couldn't get the white one. I was thinking about going back and buying gray joycons to make my switch OLED look better so it can match with the black dock. Gray joycons are $79.99 and up, these are $69.99 at my Walmart wtf? I might as well buy these.

Hassan Ahmed would like to see a Dielga and Palkia theme Joy Cons for when Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl comes to the Switch or a Nintendo Switch Lite Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl theme like they did for Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee? I would definitely get something if Nintendo does that. What about you

That bright purple is the "Neon Purple" Joy-Con. It's sold as a two pack with Neon Purple and Orange Joy-Cons.

I got those joycons last Friday at target it was the last one after I picked it up the day after I got my animal crossing switch system last Thursday at target they happened to have 2 Zelda joycons at the target there today. I like the Zelda joycons and the animal crossing edition switch a lot. Best regards Nikita.K

Update the joy cons. I think my color indicators began working after I updated them, because mine showed up white initially too.

These work as regular joycons for all other games, right? I don’t own a switch but as long as these work fine for all other games like normal joycons, I’m going to buy one asap

They are regular Joy-Cons. It’s just a different design on them. But they’re exactly the same as any other Joy-Con.

my joycons are a diffrent color anyone know why? the right joycon is purple and my left 1 is dark blue

That's how it's supposed to be, as mentioned in my unboxing. They're designed after the sword and shield in the game, which are slightly different colors.
