His covers are more like songs instead of themes. Where a theme is supposed to be looped, a song is not. While a theme is more nice in a videogame because it needs to be looped in a good game, a song is most often more nice to listen to while not playing the game. I think what makes a great cover is the ability to take someome else's work and breath your own life into it while honoring what it was. Bad covers either make it too different without showing due honor, or they simply try to do the same thing the creator did, and it comes off disingenuous. I say that to explain exactly what I mean when I say that this is up there in the greatest covers I've ever heard. You've taken an iconic song and elevated it to excellence while showing deep respect to the original playfulness of the song. You are extraordinarily talented, and I wish you the best.
