No, Nintendo loves to test their ideas in games so they can use them later. For example, Super Mario 3D World’s clear pipes had curved edges, and in Odyssey the green pipes also are curved. While it’s not the best example, it gives me hope that a Mario Maker title may be in consideration.

You know, been playing this, having not owned a Wii U, and even though the visuals are the same as all the other New Super Mario Bros games, the level design in this game is REALLY freaking good. Easily the most fun of the whole “New” series. Highly recommend for any classic Mario fan that hasn’t already played this on Wii U.

Blue Toad exsists, he's an Alt Costume for Yellow Toad, emphasis on Alt Costume. And Nabbit shouldn't be on the list, he's a feature that existed in the Luigi DLC, if anything being able to freely select him without knowing a secret code is a plus.

BEST GAME you guys ever invented!!! I can’t tell you how much I felt lucky to be alive playing this today hahahah! The creators did an AMAZING AMAZING job. MIND BLOWN. (I was 10 in 1990 , playing all the originals. I got this for my son who just turned 10. To see , play and watch Super Mario evolve like this - is just something.). Super Mario Deluxe is, by far , the best release of Super Mario ever.
