Ugh. Thank you for the memories Splatoon 3. My brother passed away this year 5 days before he was supposed turn 21, he never made it to the final splatfest with me but he would’ve absolutely chosen team past. He was one who got Splatoon 1 on the wii u and if he had never gotten it, I wouldn’t be here. It’s now my turn to keep his legacy alive and keep playing all future iterations. Thank you for everything Splatoon 3, fastest 2 years of my life.

To be fair, Splatoon 3 didn’t have its issues. The connection issues, the boring and restrictive maps, three team Splatfests, weird weapon kits and the grind for the Catalog and Sheldon Coupons. I hope Nintendo sees Team Past’s victory as a sign that we’d like to go back to what worked in 1 & 2 and not try to be the next Fortnite or CoD. I hope nothing from 3 gets pushed into 4.

My partner and i started playing Splatoon 1 back in 2015. Our first Splatfest was Pirates vs Ninjas and both of us were hooked. We spent weeks switching off the WiiU just to have turns playing. Fought like heck for team past. I have never cared as much about a Splatfest theme as much as this one, but I would've been happy whoever won, I love all the games. I have played since the first testfire in Splatoon 1. Loved it all the way back during its first Nintendo Direct. Went out and bought a Wii U for it, even as a kid with heavily limited savings, despite recognizing it was a deeply struggling console. I imagine their are other players like me that are skilled fps/tps players now after all these years; probably a high concentration in team past that came out to battle. I am a Masters PC Overwatch player too so I imagine some of those skills helped a bit.

As somebody who has played Splatoon 3 since its release, the memories throughout this video suddenly flowed back to me. I lost the game a couple of times (which I couldn't experience every single Splatfest) but the ones I did experience were some of the most fun times I've ever had. I remember two years ago, the me from that long ago wouldn't have seen this day coming. But now, the day has arrived. I will love this game forever, and I hope the franchise continues to see the light of day.

Splatoon is not just a game, it is a part of my life, and although I am young, I know that, despite every bad or good decision they make, I will continue to love this saga. I am sure I sound cheesy, but seriously, every time I hear its music, I feel complete, and the laughter, the anger from the matches, and the sadness of some scenes, I will never forget them. I also didn't have a switch until last year, and even wii u or other console when switch not exist yet, and even now don't have a chance to play Splatoon, and all of that because of being heavily struggled on money, living in poor family, it's a miracle that i've finally got my switch at all after 8-9 years of waiting to buy recent nintendo console, which was wii u back then, but, before now, for all that time i haven't enough money to buy even a wii u

I remember when this game came out I thought "wait what's different between this and Splatoon 2" but then months passed and I realized that the amount of free content this game has given us was quite insane. I spent over 660h on this game, always trying to grind catalog lol but it was fun. Me and my friend rooted for team past and we even won a 333x battle yesterday, nonetheless that was the best final fest we got. The plaza, the map, the music, everything was a combination of all 3 games, enhancing that "3" symbol the game is trying to convey. Thank you Nintendo and Splatoon 3

Nintendo ya did it again, I wake up find a notification and say "hu, it from nintendo" and I realized and nearly scream "ITS ABOUT SPLATOON!" You know what. When all is said and done, I’m glad I was able to be there for the games’ swan song this time. I missed Splatocalypse back in 2019 and to this day I’m still annoyed that I was unable to play it. So when 3 launched I swore to play the Final Fest this time around, no matter what. And I’m glad to say, Grand Festival surpassed my expectations in every conceivable way, and made me feel like I made up for missing Splatoon 2’s Finale all those years ago. Splatfests werent my favorite thing in terms of just overall gameplay but the environment Nintendo provides EVERY. TIME. always has been phenomenal. Splatoon 3 shows they continued to outdo themselves all the way up to the breathtaking Grand Festival. Easily the most fun I have had with the game. Splatoon 1 had the best atmosphere, Splatoon 2 had the best music, and Splatoon 3 had the best gameplay. Even though they all have their differences, Splatoon as a whole is one of the absolute best shooters. Here’s hoping Splatoon 4 takes the best of the first 3 and blows it all out of the water!!!! 9 years of sheer chaos and excitement are all a result of these magnificent games. The addition of a third team really spiced up the competition! I learned to love tricolor battles, and i think the wins were much more split up compared to previous titles

I love splatoon so much. Other games have live events but those are usually to be exciting. Not that this wasn’t exciting. But it really celebrates what made it special. It makes you cry and remember what made the series so special. As someone who was on team present, I’m kind of happy past one. Without the past of this series, I wouldn’t have had as good of a time with the grand festival as I did. There were references everywhere, characters in the venue, and the music was fantastic full of motifs. I wish this never had to end. But all good things have to. I love splatoon so much. I love this community so much. Thank you splatoon. And thanks to all of you.

I’ve never before seen a game with so much love put into it. The sheer amount of passion that went into every detail of this splatfest: the new arrangements of all the songs, the new map, the new stage, all the little Easter eggs like acht and such, and the fact that the background instruments are animated very well, especially considering they’re being played by jellyfish. I really think we’ll struggle to see a more devoted dev team than those who worked on this game. Thank you monolith soft.
