Wait wouldn't the rarity of the mario maker power ups be entirely up to the level creators making every power up in a weird grey area of how rare they are since there are millions of mario maker levels, well I haven't played any of the mario maker games in while so I don't know if that a stupid question or a legit question

In this case, the rarity is higher since the shown items aren’t available to use in levelmaking from the start. I haven’t finished everything yet, but the items are unlockable for levelmaking

that specific power-up is obtained through beating story mode, thus making it the hardest unlockable to get

The weird mushroom in the original has to be unlocked by seeing it in a level, and if you don’t use online, that can take a very long time to happen, which is why that item counts for this list.

It’s not stupid. Not everyone played story mode which is how the builder and super ball power ups are unlocked so they won’t be used as commonly in levels and some power ups like the mushroom, fire flower and star will be used more because they’re available in every style. Power ups like Link, the SMB2 mushroom and the hats from 3D World will be used less as well because the levels they’re in have to be made around the power up instead of the power ups being chosen to fit the level

Theirs also that Green SHOE item it only shows up in 2 Super Mario Bros 3 areas a nd even since the Mario 3 first came out on the NES it hasn't really been seen in any Mario game since then UNTIL The crappy Super Mario Brothers Sticker Star game was released since its a Attack type sticker in that game.

Putting SML2 into a GBC or GBA will superimpose colour onto it, but I always got weird beigey colours on Mario and blue Goombas, not the other way around
