There is an explanation. The songs are horrible and repetitive. The background texture is repeated, everything is tiring, repetitive, it has no charisma, it is very different from the flinstones of the Nintendo 8 bits, released in 1991

i cant believe this game was even attempted, they went for as close to "real" looking graphics as the snes could muster for the flinstones lol what a bad idea. it wouldve been better if it looked like you were playing the cartoon, which wouldve been very doable.....having said that if i had played this as a kid i wouldve totally enjoyed playing it. i have to remember these werent made for the 30 year old me, they were made for the 8 year old me, and the 8 year old me wouldve enjoyed the hell out of it., and even now the backgrounds and art work look really good for the period.

Ocean did for the game what Rosie O'Donnell did for the movie: They made it a Yabba Dabba Don't.
It was a licensed 90's game. Unless it was made by Capcom or Konami (#FuckKonami) what did you expect? Lmao! Then again, the Taito made Flintstones games on the NES were actually pretty decent. Not masterpieces but enjoyable to play at least. Matter of fact, one of them is a collectors item now.
