Until I bought an NES Advantage controller, that's exactly what my brother and I did! Even then it was difficult as hell! I remember that I had a Karate Championship game for my old Apple IIc that was almost exactly like the Taekwondo event, in this game. Except one hit brought down either you or your opponent, and you progressed by winning enough matches to go up a belt. You couldn't "beat" the game. Once you reached Black Belt, your matches with CPU opponents became progressively more difficult until you were finally defeated.
