We do the trick because there's no other way to jump certain pits without spinjumping from Yoshi, unless you're a pro. Also, Yoshi can't die, when he falls into a pit, he is just teleported to an egg.

In Mario maker, they edited the sprites, i'm pretty sure, but it was confirmed that in Mario world, Mario is punching yoshi. (Proof: kotaku.com/confirmed-mario-was-originally-punching-yoshi-1818873540) Although Now hes pointing, not punching. So they did change it, but in Mario world he was punching yoshi.

I think I found a mistake. I found a better way for this to go. The maker of this course should have put rotating blocks behind where Mario has a choice either kill or spare Yoshi so that if Mario triggers the P-Switch, Yoshi will fall in lava.

Honestly, I’d side with Yoshi. Like seriously, he helped Mario and Luigi to there parents, and Mario just thinks of them like fucking socks. “Oh. I can-a get another. It’sa no big deal.” Yes it is Mayro! Your wiping out an entire species! Yoshi doesn’t teleport or some shit when he falls down a pit, he dies. Inside the eggs are different Yoshis. It’s already been revealed there exist more than one, with multiple abilities and colors. And it’s actually been revealed Mario actually hits Yoshis’ heads to get their tongue to come out. I believe it was Tekuza that revealed this in an interview. He is abusing animals, and wiping out a species.. Mario’s a sick fuck. That with the scene from Mario tennis where Luigi wins makes me rethink my childhood love of Mario.
