When I was a kid my grandpa bought me one of these for Christmas (Circa 2009) from a grocery store. This little bootleg console was one of the first ways that I had experienced a lot of retro NES games. A friend and I even managed to beat Contra with these terrible controllers. I sadly have genuine nostalgia for this exact unit 😂

Let me just say this.... If I saw this "all in one" system with two controllers, one of which looks like an N64 controller, one Genesis controller AND it also comes with a gun.... when I was a kid in the late 90s... it literally wouldn't even matter what games that it had. This would be the greatest thing I'd ever seen.

And there were more models to this Shockingly. You had this version (made in 2001) The original one (which said 76 in 1. And had music in the background) You had the final one which was slightly improved with the cartridge and had no letters next to the title. And some came with PAC-MAN and some came with mappy with a Nuts sprite (from nuts and milk) in the place. So me living in NYC this was everywhere and only $20 on 14th Street. And it was like hoping for PAC man or not. I owe it to this console it helped get me through my parents divorcing as a child. Great video btw

Call me lucky or unlucky, but a silver and red variant to exist. I own both, yet only one works. There are also 2 different models. Apparently one of them comes with 76000 games, yet I cannot test it due to issues with my red one. Btw, the only visual differences are the a and b buttons are c buttons instead, and the shells are slightly different so they aren't swappable. Edit: DO NOT CONNECT GENESIS OR ANY OTHER 9 PIN CONTROLLER TO THE TOP! IT FRIED MY GENESIS CONTROLLER AND CAUSED A, B AND X AND Y TO STOP WORKING! USE THE CONTROLLERS BUNDLED IN IF YOU HAVE THEM!

Thanks for actually showing the Famicom slot in use. I had a very similar Famiclone system as a kid which they sold through local catalogues but instead of a second MegaDrive style controller mine had its own unique shape whereas the N64 style main controller lacked the fake analogue stick and had a silver colour. Also the C buttons were in their actual position. The games were basically taken from the black box series i.E. Pinball and some lesser known ones like Battle City.

So images a space ship sticking off the front. I'd have to go grab both of them again but I want to say that the other one is more comfortable in the hand.

I owned the Power Player Super Joystick & Power Gun/Super Joystick TV Game/Super Joy III when I was a kid. I had the blue one with the gray and brown light gun, as showcased in this video. I also had a version that came with a green and brown light gun instead of gray. Like most people here in the United States, I got mine at a mall kiosk, sometime in the early 2000s. Seeing all these NES games being included on one device that I could just plug in and play without having to swap cartridges was very appealing to me at the time (this was before I knew about emulators and flash cartridges.) My mom paid $40 for it if I recall correctly, which looking back at it now, was a rip-off because these were being purchased at wholesale for around $6 - $7, but hey, I understand they had to make a profit. Anyway, the blue one I had fried on me. I plugged it in, heard a loud pop and it wouldn't work after that. I was pretty sure I was using the correct adapter that came with it, so maybe the device itself was just a piece of crap. Once I figured out NES emulation, I eventually thew away all my Power Player crap. What a colossal waste of money.

I had one of these in the early 2000s. I remember my parents buying it from one of those scammy mall kiosks and man did I get some milage out of it, until I inserted the battery pack in backwards and it was perminantly stuck to the housing forever. No DC adapter for me rip

Bruh my dad got me this at the local swap meet. I didn’t care, it had so many games. Lol but I did notice some time in that the games repeat in the list haha. Good times tho and I had a good exposure to NES games. Though my mom didn’t let me play Duck Hunt cuz I’d have to use the gun. Lmao

I remember getting that as a random bootleg game player and I was fooled thinking it contains thousands of games, but it really contained a small number of games with repeats of same game with different names. I grew to hate bootleg consoles as I grew older. Nonetheless, got exposed to a wide range of games not officially released in USA.

That's REALLY strange about 1942. Cuz EVERY ROM I tried downloading for that game starts at level 32. Can't find a working ROM that starts from the beginning. I don't understand. EDIT: so apparently the NES version of 1942 has the levels reversed from the arcade version. So you play level 32-level 1. Backwards. very strange. Bad port I assume. That's literally how the game is and always was on NES. Even if you have the actual system and cartridge.

I remember when I was in my 20s I bought one of these at a swap meet. What got me was it said 75000 games. Not thinking, I paid like $25 for it. Remember when they say you get what you pay for? Lesson learned 😂

Darn it. They sued everyone involved. There goes my dream of playing Nintendrew's favorite games ever: "A Mitsubishi Commercial", "Warplanes", "Warplanes", or "Space Conflict".

My parents bought me a Super Joy III set back in 2003 or 2004 (because I had obviously saw it in the mall at a pop up kiosk) and when I opened it on Christmas morning I was the happiest kid ever and I loved playing it!! At the time I didn't know they were NES games but I had only just realized it into my teen years that they were LOL. This thing brought me hours of fun! My parents had also bought my oldest sister a soccer game and my younger sister a knock off DDR pad (that had licenced 16 bit music on it lmao) all from the same kiosk that was in the mall. Seeing this video brings me back SOOO many good memories I still have my Super Joy III set today and it still works just like it did back in 2003/2004.

I remember these from the mall in 2004. Eastern European girls hocking them from kiosks in the middle of the halls.

That's take me back when Romeo my cousin had that in the 8th Grade at Davis Middle School in Bessemer, Alabama and AJ had that too when he started Kindergarten at Elementary School in Bessemer, Alabama during the 2005-2006 season. While I had Extra Controllers for the GameCube, Memory Card, True Crime NYC, didn't had DOR 2 until Early February 2006.
