Wait a minute, you unlocked Rosalina by having a saved data file from Super Mario Galaxy?

This is two years old, but yes, you unlock Rosalina by having a save data file on Super Mario Galaxy and completing 50 races. That's the easier way, the other way is much harder because you have to complete 4,950 races to unlock her. That's why I actually plan to come back to Galaxy at some point, not just to try and play it again for entertainment, but also to unlock Rosalina earlier because she's my main in Mario Kart 8 (she's available from the start there). I don't think I can do 4,950 races just to unlock one character. It's just more work than having a save file on another game and then completing 50 races.
