For anyone who doesn't know, NIOD prices were cut in half to make it more affordable. So the prices we are paying today are really good for the quality we're getting, meaning that other brands would charge the 100% amount for formulas like these

I bought the hydration vaccine because I found my skin around my nose was getting so dry from wearing a face mask all day during COVID. No matter how much the Ordinary Moisturising Factor I lathered on my face, the skin around my nose was peeling and felt like it was on fire underneath my mask. Once I started using hydration vaccine my skin stopped peeling and stayed hydrated all day. As an added bonus I found that it was a great before foundation skin prepper making my skin surface super smooth, making the application of foundation glide on.

Hey hun thank you so so much for watching and for sharing your experiences which I think will be useful to a lot of people.. I think the issue I had with the hydration vaccine was that it didnt work for my skin type but your right someone who is super dry or has very dry patches could indeed benefit from the product xx

I have been using NIOD since Caroline Hirrons started talking about it 6 years ago. I am on a bit of a Korean binge now, but always end up going back to it. My favorite is the eye serum. It instantly quenches my very very dry undereye (and I sometimes put it on super dry spots in front of my ears.) When it came out, the science behind it was mind blowing, and I’m glad to see they are still going strong. Hyaluronic Acid is a household word now, but they still are ahead of the game.

You convinced me to buy the Re:Pigment and I'm two weeks in and definitely have noticed a lightening of the larger dark spots. I have years of accumulated UV damage and nothing has helped until now. I don't have particularly high hopes for the dark spots ever going away completely but this has done more than any other product I've used over the years.

I have just discovered your channel and it is SO helpful. I am late to the skincare routine that includes more than a wash, sunscreen and a night cream. Having just turned 41, I am quickly realizing that my great skin genes can only carry me so far with the amount of time I spend outdoors and in the sun. I was feeling so lost in the sea of products and ingredients. You saved me from spending so much money I currently don't have. I love your honesty and your dedication to affordable products that are also cruelty free. Thankyouthankyouthankyou.

I am truly devastated that I only discovered your channel today as I was reordering my TO. Now I have to wait another 2-3 months before I need a reorder - I am totally going for some NIOD products. I started TO about 2 years ago to improve my skincare routine and keep to it (hated the thought of wasting money on stuff I wouldn't actually finish or consistently use). I am fanatic with it now and looking to update my items. I won't lie, TO improved my skin from what it was but your reviews are encouraging me to start playing in the higher price point skincare items. Thanks so much for your reviews and well done!!

#1 is Survival, applicable to every skin and beneficial to everyone. Watch the Brandon Truax interview where he discusses Survival. Survival 10 has a reason and he mentions people’s bad and unhealthy relationship to the sun. Once you understand why it’s out there you know why it created. But basically, all with SPF are misses. Survival 0 is all one needs and SPF can be applied to need 😌 #2 is CAIS (Copper Amino Isolate Serum). Ps. 30ml is €72 and only 15ml is €45. #3 is ELAN (Ethylated LxAscorbic Acid 30% Network) I based my opinion on universal applicable products, the ones that everyone could and should use regardless of age and gender. All the other products apply to specific needs / wishes and are personal choices 🙏🏽

My HG Niod product is the copper peptides. Worth every penny, I will always repurchase this. Won’t repurchase hydration vaccine, it’s an occlusive it did not add any hydration for me, definitely didn’t cut it in the dry winter months. Sanskrit saponins, mheh, didn’t live up to the claims the company made about it. Not bad just not good. Like the survival 30, on the fence about repurchasing, think your review swung it for me. Can’t wait to try the product for hyperpigmentation. Thank you for a wonderful review!!

The one product I love from NIOD is their Hydration Vaccine! I have been using it for about two years. It is like an instant moisture boost and makes my skin instantly look smoother and less dull (I am 46). It is because I love it so much I am now looking into other NIOD products ( and hence watching this). I was 40 before I even started moisturising daily, let alone any other skin care, so I am well behind most people, so maybe if you have neglected your skin like me, the Hydration Vaccine is a god send. I will definitely try the other products you recommended. Could I suggest though that you pin the list of products you mention - both the NIOD and the alternative ones, like the one you think is as good as the hydration vaccine, as it is hard to remember them for a novice like myself. Thank you.

I absolutely A❤️D❤️O❤️R❤️E the NIOD brand! 😍 And if money were no option it would be my only skin care brand! 🥰 (gues I’m just as «mad about skin» as you are 😉) I agree with some of your favourites and one of your fails...I would happily swatch the Sanskrit Saponin cleanser any time with the LV Cleansing Ester - the SS sucks out all the moisture of my skin and leaves it uncomfortably squeeky dry-clean. Not a fan! (Got it from a Black Friday deal sale from Deciem some yrs ago, but have never finished the tube...😬) The LVCE is kind but effective; it removes Waterproof mascara & SPF sooo gently! Also I buy it at a quite reasonable price here in Norway; «only» £18.85 and it lasts for a long time! The RE:PIGMENT is too expensive. I actually like the Hydrating Vaccine - it was my first purchase from the NIOD range 😊 It’s basically a lot of Dimethicone; very occlusive, and it locks in my serums and moisturisers as night. (I do agree with you on the price-tag though; it’s too expensive for a lot of Dimethicone 😑) My other favourites are the Superoxide Dismutase Mist, SURVIVAL 30 (I only use it around my eye area), Photography Fluid Opacity 8% (used in mineral SPF’s to avoid looking like Casper the friendly ghost...) and the eye serum.

Love the video! I’ve gotten really into NIOD lately since I started my skincare journey and finished up my first purchase of The Ordinary stuff. Can’t say I’m a pro or anything but I agree with all of it EXCEPT the HV 😂 Is it doing more for me than the NMF? It’s hard to say right now. Why I love it so much is how it feels on my skin. I can’t really describe it but it’s like an unbelievably smooth feeling as you rub it in that leaves your skin feeling soooo hydrated, protected, and pampered…I haven’t used anything like that before. I really like Brandon Truaxe’s view on moisturizers where you shouldn’t be adding it if you don’t need it so I apply that to the HV in my routine. I use it a couple times a week if I feel drier than usual which helps extends the life of the jar 😊

So I have thin, incredibly sensitive skin because of a connective tissue disease. For years I really struggled to keep my face free from eczema, flaking and cracking because my skin just can not retain moisture the way other peoples’ can. A combination of the multi molecular hyaluronic serum, the Hydration Vaccine, and then sealing everything in with the heavier Vanicream moisturizing cream has provided me so much relief, so for me the HV has been a godsend, but I understand why it may not appeal to people who don’t have that problem. Just wanted to give my input!

You have made me want to try Survival. But I do have to say, I absolutely love Hydration Vaccine. I have never found a moisturizer its equal. I have oily skin that is also dry and flaky, and HV hydrates my skin and also gives it a beautiful matte look and feel. I have never had matte skin in my life. I've tried The Ordinary's moisturizer and it wasn't even comparable (for me, at least). I also love ELAN and NAAP. And yes, I also didn't see the big deal of LVCE, I prefer TO's cleanser by far. I have CAIS on the way (it's been sold out forever!) and I can't wait to try it! Thanks for your video - loved the info!

So I'm considering the re-pigment for my 57 year old momma. She's blessed not to have very many wrinkles but she has come out in a lot of dark (sun) spots in the last few years. She's never gone in for makeup & just has a basic cleanse/tone/moisturise routine - - I'm working on it. Would this make as much difference to her as it has you, do you think? Would it be the serum step before moisturiser? And AM AND PM use? Thank you, skincare guru 🙌🏼

Really tempted by Re:pigment after all your glowing reviews! Would you say it's suitable for sensitive skin? I think my issue is post inflammatory erythema + rosacea, rather than PIH (never been to a derm though). OMG I hope you love it as much as I did, I am sure you will and thats a great question.. It has a small amount of oil in it to help with the application so I think it best to go on after your water based serums and before your moisturisers and oils.. so I would go cleanse, tone/exfoliate, serums, re pigment, facial oils, moisturiser/spf.. You can use it morning and night which I do xx

Rob, if you had to choose, which one is your favourite - the Niod Sanskrit Saponis, the Inkey List Oat Cleansing Balm or Alpha H Balancing Cleanser?
@MadAboutSkin
@MadAboutSkin 4 жыл бұрын
OMG don't make me pick!! I love all 3 but if i had to choose just one it would be the oat balm as you can used it whatever your skin type and also it doubles as a mask.. The alpha h is great when im super oily but a little drying when im not and the Sanskrit Saponins is amazing if you wear no or only light makeup but it doesn't remove makeup as well as the oat balm... All 3 are amazing though x

Hi. I recently purchased the NIOD re Pigment. I just don't know what to include with. I am currently using many products from the ordinary: Lactic acid, EUK, SubQ (no ordinary), vitamin C (Lascorbic+ferulic) and of course twice per week I use tretnoin. I have been alternating these products so they are not used together in the same regiment but it does not leave room for NIOD RP. Can you please tell me what it go with? L( from the list I mentioned)

The multi molecular hyaluronic I use once or twice a week in the winter, I spray su:m37 essence under and over it at night. I have t tried the copper peptides, not sure if they will work for me as I am allergic to copper. My miss product is the ethylated vitamin C, breaks me out and I am not even acne prone.

I'm curious though, how the price point and outstanding products would look like compared to Korean skincare. As korean products often are also very complex, use advanced ingredients such as ferments a.m.m. And tnd the Korean products are usually much more affortable. How would you see them compared to Niod? Is the advantage of Niod still so much higher to validate the price?
@MadAboutSkin
@MadAboutSkin 3 жыл бұрын
Thats such a good question and I would say that the technology used in NIOD is genuinely worth the higher price point, its not just the ingredients but also the formulations and the research behind them which make the brand other level..
