@@welshmonsterhunter7028 ye i mention it at the end. that'll likely get patched, seems an oversight as i don't think they even blinked at barefist dmg when balancing the game, and its odd a yokai ability scales with it. strongest thing from the game yet, but also in most danger of a patch. use it while you can i suppose.

You can do the same thing with kunai as long as you have yokai efficiency an a yokai soul insta fills my health an meter and I'm sure ppl are picking toyatomy because of the double chance to double amirita to max lvl characters.

@@DevilMayCryRR just copy paste the kunai build on this channel or check out fighting cowboys version for more depth but as to spam yokai abilities just roll efficiency on both charms and get the anima on amatita gage gain b+ and every kunai you shoot should also proc 2 anima per shot giving you infinite spam and you can max this by also increases yokai orb drops with yokai tree to also fill your meter and health by 50% for normal farm but to slap bosses you dont actually need this and the elemental feathers better for human bosses

@@jayr5mitty351 naw that's about it. It worth doing for sure as it costs waaaay less than matching with a weapon. As for corruption its great against humans but most yokai resist it at least a little so yeah it can be kinda meh. But it counts towards the confusion debuff just like any other element so it has value there.

Use a Honda set with the weapon, the added shock effect and damage is tons of fun and not nearly as broken as this! It still makes fights last!

Nioh 2 is already in dire need of its dlc. They cant come quickly enough. I wouldnt even mind adding the rest of nioh 1 stages to clear through while waiting. Loving the game, but have so quickly exhausted the content

yah i felt they could've used some challenging sub missions but all were kinda the same. and the big missions are exhausting to play through with ranged enemies everywhere constantly sniping you with a gaki every corner. i enjoyed nioh 1 base endgame more tbh

PWARGaming I think it was because nioh 1 was our first well nioh so going into nioh 2 we are already Vets and know what to do and how to do it. So naturally we ran through this game much faster.

Huggy Bear what happened to nioh 1 was a tragedy. Every strong build we came up with they nerfed. The games difficulty kept increasing while our builds kept getting nerfed to the point where it became a chore to play the game. I don’t want that to happen to this game too.

all my gear turns to dust the moment its a revenant, you dont get any stats, or 170 wpn, or any inheritables. revenants reset gear to the original stats, and most if not all the equipment was forged with junk stats. so it's pretty useless. that said, join my discord in video description, tons of people are trading their for juicy stuff there, and how i can consistently get atk/skill inheritables

Nice build, mate. Very similar to mine but we went different route. I dont watch almost any other builds for any other game but for nioh i do like to watch yours. Dont know if you knew but Enenra is broken atm. I learned that couple of days ago. It scales off bare handed dmg. I didnt notice any other yokai abilities scaling off of anything besides enenra.

yes i seen it, its crazy. however, that seems like an oversight from the devs balancing (i mean, what isn't? lol) so i'm caution on making a vid about it when it likely is gonna get patched. hopefully at worst they just adjust the enenra mechanic and not nerf barehand dmg tho. I do know namahage benefits from life drain skills on wpn, might be able to apply element well too if imbue x works with it.

Well Idk how you had the time to do this but I give up on it. Spent 2 hours trying to get stats spent 6mill to only get 3 stats for items. So thanks for the awesome guide but luck is not on my side for these stats/items. I uninstalled cause I can not get good. It's not that hard to roll the stats you want, but some stats do conflict with each other. Like, how you can't roll 2 damage modifiers on the same weapon. Same for stuff like item drop from humans/yokai/generic drop rate or different types of life recovery. Idk if you knew about that and did have just the worst luck imaginable, but i hope I helped clear something up.

I was thinking off making a “Magical Girl Onmyo build” but it’s a shame that there isn’t a staff type weapon and we only have the switchglaive but that doesn’t give off the effect of a magic girl however otakemaru is perfect for the build with the different bright colours etc so you could make a build with flashy but strong attacks

I went battle mage and it's on par with this build I shred bosses with this 2 spell to get confusing and them attack while I yoki I dont even block anymore bc I can gain all the health back from magic have 878 magic power

i built warrior of the east 6 piece and exceptional one tornado dmg. not even optimized for damage and it makes a joke of everything. not 1 hit on things but with a couple life on amrita absorbtion and easts life on skill dmg it stands in anything and never dies. lots of toughness too so the only thing that really hurts is grab attacks, but they are mostly just annoying. i need to farm some attack inheritables for it and maybe i'll do more damage, but tbh the build doesnt really need it. Bird spirit,steel talisman,extraction,barrier nothing is scary.

Im finally happy to see a build using Yokai Shift. The way i have my build set up currently ive been able to transform so many times. Sometimes i forget and try to save it only to forget i have a full gauge. Yokia Shift does need some buffs though like not going to lie.

I've been running the same sort of thing, but I use it with my Ninjutsu build. All my cores have +anima and anima charge type bonuses / yokai damage. That with yasakani, aquaman's kusa, and the anima on ninjutsu is still absolutely broken. Allows for spam of ninjutsu *and* yokai abilities. No need to choose one or the other. Por que no los dos?

People talking about probability of nerfing gets me nervous. I don’t care for min maxed builds because it usual takes a good chunk and time to get to that point, but even nerfing a single aspect of a build could widely change its viability. I’m in love with my dual swords amrita lifesteal build and if even one thing gets needed from it, could ruin the fun. Really hope Team Ninja doesn’t start whacking us with the nerf hammer.

i'm just caution from old flashbacks. also, cautioning people would lessen the outrage they would have if it was nerfed. idk if anyone expected lw to get nerfed at launch, and things to continually be adjusted months after despite nothing really changing in the end (killing bosses in a few seconds). We all assumed it was "just a pve game" and the nature of it was similar to diablo where the point was TO be OP, hence the loot and stat system. I think now we know that's not exactly the case. Who knows what they'll do, but I rather be safe than sorry by being "oOOohh watch out guys~~" If something seems strong or abusable.

This is a very solid build, even after the recent 1.08 patch. Quick question... I recently farmed Kasha's Soul Core with the Special Effect Anima Charge Bonus (Amrita Gain). Would this Special Effect stack with Genryu's 6th Set Bonus Anima Bonus (Amrita Absorption) or would one of them take priority over the other?

The Yasakani Magatama accessory reduces Set Bonus requirements by 1. Meaning if you need 3 pieces of gear for a specific bonus stat, with Yasakani Magatama equipped, you'll only need 2 pieces of gear to meet the requirement.

Unbelievable build as always fam. Only thing that bugged me was Saiorse = (SER-shah) You should do an onmyo build next! Unfortunately the onmyo sets ingame are kind of whatever rn and no set has an inherent switchglaive, but I feel like instant chaos via elements + infinite retribution on every piece of gear would one shot everything, no? Especially if there was a way to slap that 80% damage to poisoned enemy on there, maybe supplement some ninjutsu in there to proc it consistently. Would like to see a deconstruction of the best dps spells most of all, considering there isn’t much big brain strategy going on with ‘use kunai’ which was already meta in 1 as well

Ninjutsu relies on those shadow art spells that do ridiculous damage whenever the enemy runs out of Ki. So you want to constantly deplete the enemies Ki, and then punish them. I’ve seen my fireball attack do over 6k and I’m not even endgame yet.

This is a dope build. I think you have a bit of PTSD from when Team Ninja nerf alot of Nioh stuff back in the day. Have fun...let the game breath...also I expect a Yokai buff before build nerf...special effects require too much time investment to receive nerfs right now...

you get 1 last Onmyo Magic Capacity at Magic 30. giving you a Max Total of 35 ( with the 5 you get from the Onmyo Magic) Why not just put one point into it ( I know this is point less. ((lol pun)) once the DLCs come out but you can have max Cap. (( Note I made a list of what gives you what per point on GameFAQ to help with builds abit better.

you equip gloves/whatever, die a bunch of times, your friend finds your grave, equips the gear, and they die over and over, and then when their grave comes up, you can kill and get their gear, and you repeat till you got however many you need. so tldr, you kill each others revenants with the gear you want on them over and over.

the base inherit is 20. once you max fam on the armor it becomes 35. fam effects the stats % n stuff

I mean in your Ninja King build you have +90 Ninjutsu Power on ( Takigawa ) clan, but I have just +40 !! ... how you rise the Ninjutsu Power? Thanks

you have to get enough glory during a clan battle to get a title. depending on the title is how much of a boost you get.

@@Chip-Chapley Thanks ^_^ ... But there are a lot of titles, and I read there are just three upgrades ( threshold ) for clan's buffs ... Did you know the names of titles that make the buffs go up ??

donating and generating glory from co-op increases the rank as well. when you go to clan battles and press r2 you can see a progress bar of your rank and then next rank. that blue bar you need to fill to raise it.

Well I didn't really know gold inheritables were a thing. Might need to soul match my armour with these soul cores if thats how it works.

Gold inheritables come from armor. For example you need arms with gold/orange attack and transfer them to every piece. Then ideally transfer the white inheritables of a skill damage to everything aswell

I’ve been doing something similar with the elephant guardian, an ippon datara core and something that fits with yokai ability damage all. except you need max anima for the force boost from elephant so I don’t try to stack anima that much . But I get a 25% increase from forceboost elephant, 20% if enemy is on fire, and 10% from damage all. I use lightning bird but you could push it a little more with the goat guardian, phantom cores gain damage boost. But like you said, and something I’m aware of using it, otaki will probably be nerfed.

i prefer the starter dog for that sorta thing, aside saving it for bosses in big stages, you're slowing down your kill speed waiting for elephant to reach max boost and you almost have to run less anima to make full use of it. dog is 10% less but effective whenever. if otake/yokai skill dmg is all you care about (you shouldn't) then dog would be my recommendation.

You want an anima generator which is predicated on fast attacks. sword of celerity might be a decent option, otherwise you're limited to using low stance quick attack spam to generate it fast. I think just from weapon usage it'll be weaker than kusa.

The golden one are permanent inheritable that you can temper it

@@RengekiX to be more specific, golden adds the stat, and the stat becomes "normal", unlike white inheritable. you could even change it after adding it, and you can add multiple stats. so you could take a yellow rare wpn, and then add 5 stats via golden inheritables, if you wanted to.
