Yeah, Katsuie is a demon. Turns out you can stop his charge if you break his tusks, but I only managed to do it once.

once u get to the second dlc, look for the sub mission where u fight a hayabusa ninja, u want to farm him because 1. He drops really good gear and 2. he has the most awesome secret arts, such as the ninjutsu ones where u can do well... all of his ninjutsu (the fireball, purple ball and wind) and you also can get access to the one where he grabs you if your low on stamina. Anyways, get ready for the 1st dlc's bosses, they make shiba look like a joke. You'll need to pull out all the stops, you'll need to use ur soul cores asap, keep attacking and get that stamina low.

you've started using your soul cores more, another reason u should use the wheel is that it heals you on every hit, meaning it also can be used as healing. Also give away all your items except what ur using, you can get like 400 elixirs by dumping all of it.

Ye, Shibata is the strongest boss in the game, imo. The last boss was a joke in comparison. They really pumped that stupid boar for some reason. Not even some dlc's bosses much later are not even close to this shit.
