I can only imagine how heartbroken Yasuke was in here.

@@novrinkov0053 You have to understand two crucial facts about Yasuke: He was persuaded by Nobunaga to become his retainer/samurai. He wasn't forced to bring him out of Honnoji, nor did Nobunaga's loyalists bear grudge to him being the only retainer to see Nobunaga's final moments. Everyone in the Oda clan understood it's the path that Nobunaga as the head of the clan took, and they respected him for it in the end - including Yasuke himself - bearing only singleminded grudge to bring Mitsuhide down for his heinous and traitorous actions. In the end, it was Mitsuhide only who berated Yasuke for being a copycat samurai, despite the fact Nobunaga once held Yasuke in higher regard, no matter the fact surrounding his skin color.

He's already dead tho, that's why you can find his helmet in the mission and Yasuke said something about it when you found it

Especially knowing that Nō was Hide's half-sister.... She was literally the only living family that hide had left, and then Hide loses both her & Nobunaga despite their best efforts to save them. Plus, if you know how things historically went down, then you know going into the mission that Hide will fail to save Nobunaga & Nō. Especially since Nō herself was a boss in Nioh 1 (as the Yuki-Onna). And while it would have been even sadder, I feel like Hide should have had to fight Nō/Yuki-Onna as well, like if Hide encounters her after William, and it turned out that Nō still had lingering regrets and still couldn't pass on even after facing William, possibly due to her having wished to share some parting words with Hide as well. And then after the fight, maybe Nō could have turned from a Yuki-Onna into a Guardian Spirit so that she could continue to watch over her half-sibling?

Was hoping that they would show Nobunaga's descent into ruthlessness(thanks to you-know-who), by burning down Mt. Hiei and abusing Amrita.

@@yourdissapointeddaddy2057 other daimyo? Daimyo usually don't destroy religious facilities, they valued Buddhism and shintoism. If they do that, they get a lot of hate from the people(civilian, other daimyo even emperor) Attacking a shinto is the same as attacking an emperor And ordinary temples and shrines have no military.Mt. Hiei was a force with an army, almost same as daimyo. nobunaga attacked because Mt.Hiei was a depraved religious figure with military.

Honestly, I liked Oda Nobunaga too much to care for him, I felt the same as Yasuke, but despite the fact that it sounds ridiculous, I plan to avenge him.

The saddest part? Had Nobunaga survived Honnoji Temple and continued his campaign, he most likely would have ended the war and unified Japan much sooner than Hideyoshi did. By betraying Nobunaga, Mitsuhide single-handedly prolonged the war (and played right into the hands of Kashin Koji & Otakemaru by giving them both exactly what they wanted), and as such was responsible for every further death that resulted from it. The smarter thing to do would have been to first let Nobunaga unify Japan, and *then* raise the issue of the spirit stones once Japan had actually become stable again. Especially with Nobunaga havng Hide around to deal with any Yokai or spirit-stone related issues that may have arisen, that likely would have been the "ideal" outcome for Japan as a whole. Since Nobunaga wasn't possessed by Kashin Koji or Otakemaru, he most likely would have been willing to listen to Mitsuhide's concerns, and he likely would have been willing to be rid of the spirit stones once they were no longer needed.
