I think talking about the otekemaru and soul bringer soul cores would have been fairly relevant here as they basically specialize in insta confusion. If you got an anima build going i think you can essentially spam nightmare bringer keeping confusion going that way.

Is getting imbue effects on weapons better than the jutsus that imbue for the purposes of obviously inflicting opponent with status effect? I have 150 dex with a lot of ninjutsu buffs, is just having the effect in my weapon always better than just having a broth of vice versa?

I don't play with too much jutsu, but I think the jutsu will lead more effective status application that just normal imbue on weapons. However, you can always just increase your status accumulation on gear to assist regardless.

@PooferLlama HEY! Thanks for answering a bunch of my questions on your videos. I don't know if you know this (I haven't personally seen any of your videos discuss this), but you can put yokai (technically also human, but works best with yokai) enemies in practically an infinite loop of paralysis and winded state. If you manage to put the enemy in a paralysis state before they fully get out of the winded state (especially effective against bosses that will unleash a dark realm before getting out of winded state), their winded state will practically reset. Of course, this can be created into practically an infinite loop if the enemy is paralyzed before they get out of winded state again.

Thanks for this guide, learned early on how good confusion was but I didn't know you could extend it. Hey would you mind covering the difference between versatility and finishing flair?

Versatility gives 60% extra damage for hitting with 9 different active skills. Finishing Flair is a damage boost whenever you grapple or final blow a target. In the event you got a zero ki enemy, it boosts damage as well. I think it scales with ki damage as well.

@@PooferLlama that's interesting because I'm rocking ultimate courage and strength right now. I'm working on 2nd dlc in DOTN rn, and I find it easy to keep enemies at low ki(especially with confusion) , I'm wondering if it would be more beneficial to have finishing flair. Do you have a specific grace you like for finishing flair?

Truth be told, I have the 99 in all stats just because I couldn't be arsed to manage them.

pretty much. but you wanna spread out the elemental application so that you can maximize total confusion uptime.
