NiOh | Boss Fight 6: How to beat Umi-Bozu

It should be noted that the small minions of this boss only spawn when one of the bonfires to the side of the arena is not lit anymore. If you don't use one of the bonfires in the first phase, you won't encounter the minions at all. This is because the minions spawn at the start of the fight and midway point of the fight depending on the amount of bonfires that are not lit.

arsenewenger30 try it on Way of the Nioh. If he hits you, you get a debuff that makes William puke every time you heal. Which is basically a death sentence. Not only that his health is incredibly more than before.

side note, you can easily avoid 90% of the damage you would normally take if you get up in his face in phase 1, like literally right in front of him and just strafe dodge left and right wailing on him the whole time

Your tip is good bro but after he spite water within 0.1 secs he spit out the big yellow one shot beam can't dodge that

when I get to the boss all the fires are not lit the one right in front of me and when I kept using the fire mask and I ran out the bosses health was low like two more hits low so when I went to lit my weapon on fire he used that Lazer beam thats mostly how he beat me

Is all damage he does water damage? Trying to decide if “water stop” is worth using jutsu for this. Edit: beat his ass with fire thank you for this guide

Soo....you didn't notice the bonfires that you can use to light your weapon on fire?!?; You don't even need to waste fire amulets on this boss just use what's clearly given to you.
