I can't tell if its working or not. Im on the PS5 remastered version and once I get to the step where the item should be successfully swapped in my melee slot, the box that should show the picture of the item along with the stats isn't there. So at 2:12 for example, that entire right box that has the pic of the bow and all the stats isn't there for me anymore after a certain step, and nothing I press brings it back for me to confirm whether or not I successfully equipment slotted it.

@@shinjidlarc9832 I ended figuring out what was wrong, but I haven't played in a month so Im a little hazy on the details. I ended up finding out that the item wasn't loaded properly and you had to do some weird shenanigans' to get it to register. So when I wanted an item put into that slot and I had that item in the storehouse, I'd take it out and suddenly the text was missing. Well to fix that, I put the item back in the storehouse, then another random item I put in there too. Then I went back to the storehouse and took out the random item and then the item I wanted in the slot. That sometimes worked, but if it didn't then I'd take both items out of the storehouse and then put the item I wanted back in along with 2 random items, taking those two randoms back out first and then the one I wanted in the slot last. I kept repeating the process and adding an additional random item to take out each time before it finally registered that item into the slot. It can get extremely tedious and my record for the amount of random items I had put in and take out with my desired item being the last was I think 102 or 103. but that only happened once.

@@shinjidlarc9832 No problem! I spent hours upon hours trying to get it to work, and I finally figured out that method. Word of warning though, I played through Nioh 2 three times(3 new characters getting to underworld) and the latest playthrough I wanted to do this glitch for an 100% untouched Ninjutsu build. Ran into a bunch of issues, primarily the fact that I couldn't turn both weapons into arms. But what really messed things up was that for some reason the Untouched Ninjutsu stacks I had on the gloves I put in my ranged slots didn't work. I have no idea why it didn't count towards the stats, but that was when I put the game down again, lol. My 2nd character playthrough I tried doing it legit, thinking that Untouched Ninjutsu and Untouched Jutsu counted towards the same thing. After almost 30 hours of farming the same underworld levels over and over to get the right accessories and finding out they didn't stack, I was devastated. Nearly had the same feeling when I found out this glitch didn't work as well as I'd hoped and I couldn't get past 85%.

Would I use rifle slots in order to swap items to second main hand? Struggling to figure that bit out as I've gotten 2 accessories on rifle slots and would like a third on weapon slot. Currently working around it by just swapping to secondary but just ocd lol

Either this is explained incorrectly or it dooesnt work anymore. I have 2 indentical weapons in slot 1 and 2 i destroy 2nd load build now have same in both slot 1 and 2 unassign slot 2 sell to blacksmith unassigned weapon sell unique bow NOT in storehouse weapon is also not in storehouse. Hover slot 1 buy back bow. Not glitched just an empty window for the weapon description. So either there is a step missing or its been patched? Needs a better explaination tbh

Actually replicated this now it does work but there are certain weapon attributes or sets that aren't allowed in the weapon slots so it won't work for certain equipment. I used a wisteria bow as in the video and that works where as a borehole bow did not work. Haven't found a list of allowed attributes for each slot but I guess you have to double check that each attribute on an equipment piece is allowed for the slot you want to glitch

It worked for me, I used Atagi Masamune sword for the melee damage +2,1%, active skill ki consumption -8,2% and active skill break +17,5% and it worked, I can use my main kusarigana while having the buffs for damage, the empty window will remain until you purchase the weapon back, and save to change for the equipment, the SAVE steps are vital for the glitch works, at least this is what I figured out and still worked for me, now I have Atagi Masamune sword equiped on all 5 body parts, and 89% active skill break, those monsters that love defend cannot stand my atacks anymore.

Sometimes, the equipment swap doesn't work for me. It just gives me a blank weapon, and when I buy back and sell again, it still doesn't work.

If a weapon is on the equipment slot, its stats will be added to your main hand IN-Game? So id be giving up a little bit defense for a whole nother stat of a weapon on TOP of my weapon?

Yup. Anything on armor slot and accessory slot is always active.

In PS5 Remastered edition, I am not able to glitch this. Everytime I buy back different slot category, it is only blank. But if I buy back item with same category, the glitch works, i.e. title is katana, but my buy back is spear. It says katana, but displays as spear.

Nope, it works only for equipment slots.

@@J433_ Follow the step from 2:39 onwards. You have to change the item you are glitching depending on the slot.

You have to do that step again every time.

finaly one video well explicated, finaly I was able to multiply my damage, but I lost all my defense, well, like the dictate says, sacrifice one thing to earn another, sacrifice defense to earn more damage, I am just lvl 125 and still unable to fight the monsters in the last region DREAM map, they gaze at me and I am dead. hardly players come in to my aid when I am online, the game is nice, but the difficulty is terrible, too hard that sometimes I think to give up this game. thanks for your video.

Make sure you do not have same type of weapon that you are using for the glitch inside the box.

You can stack 9 times the the stats you have on normal hand cannon but the base attack will not add up.

You do it on one slot, save it on a loadout and just repeat the steps for all of them.
