I used to eat here at least once a week with my husband and little baby boy about 11 years ago before moving out of state. Seeing the faces of these lovely women literally fill a void I've been feeling for years. They made us feel so welcome and loved. He visited about 5 years ago and brought me home several tempeh sandwiches that made it to utah and tasted just as I remember. This was my go-to pregnancy craving spot, my favorite family dinner spot, and will still be forever my most nostalgic place to eat. My son (who is now 12) and I plan to travel back to Tacoma just to eat at Quickie Too.

I opened a healthy deli in 2000 and hillside quickie used to come around weekly and bring tofu and tempeh. We didn’t survive but I’m so glad you ladies did!

Quickie started out as a store in the hilltop on 16th and G Street...my husband was starting to dig the reggae scene in Tacoma and naturally gravitated there in 1981.

What are your hours of operation?

According to Yelp, their hours are 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Saturday except when they are closed on Tuesday. Then their Sunday hours are listed as 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
