Maybe I am wrong, but the photo shown on the youtube along with the video title is not the same that you are sewing! Finishing of the end of tuffle is also different. In the cover photo, the whole dress seems one piece while you are showing as a frock style. Isn't it? The little curve of the ruffle at the chest area in the photo looks very elegent. What you are showing is straight line sewing of the ruffle. So following your instructions if someone makes the dress will not come out as shown on the photo and the beginner would feel frstrated not figuring out what went wrong. Of course, your sewn dress's photo does show what the beginner would get the result! (but it will not be the same as shown on cover screen!, that's what I mean.)

@@rajashri4537 still I feel that the ruffle's shoulder side would not stay in place as the upper section of the ruffle is attached to shoulder only...so from back there is no ruffle and the outer end of the ruffle would look weired as it would be covering the front half of the shoulder and back is with no ruffle. Here actually dreass worn with front and back photos not shown. I would make ruffle for front and back with one piece, that would look more elegent. Very nice and attactive design, of course!

Ur right! This tutorial is wrong,the ruffle shud go right to the bk so that the same ruffle covers like a sleeve. Secondly the ruffle is supposed to be attached to a princess line cut ,as shown on the original pattern.
