The bellows - Renaissance Positive Pipe Organ Building

Here we are at the bellows, the lung of the organ! By the end of the month the organ will be finished in its structure, from January we will begin to insert all the pipes.

I was wondering: will you use the wooden pipes of the unfinished positive organ, or make new ones? Looking forward to the result!

FANTASTIC!!! Great to see and hear this. Question (I am not a leather craftsman): why not start the cutting somewhere in the middle and then working toward the ends? I think that you'd avoid the folding and curling of the leather strips at the corners while cutting (and less chance of slipping the knife in your fingers...)

Thank You Sir! In reality I have never asked myself the problem, I see that all organ builders do the same as me, sometimes I have tried to use different procedures but in the end I have seen that the traditional ones are always more valid. I will do a test and then I will tell you.
