I have bought many packs of Nippon Kodo Morning Star incense. I was surprised to read on the side of each box that the incense I've bought was made in Hong Kong, not Japan. Even though the incense I've bought was not made in Japan, it is still wonderful. I have Green Tea (which I am burning right now), Patchouli, Cedarwood, Pine, Vanilla, Amber, Jasmine, and Musk. Sometimes I like to burn two sticks at once. I've found Vanilla and Pine go together especially well. The Morning Star incense does not have an overpowering scent, and this is a very good thing. I have a small bedroom. Another good thing about this incense is that it does not produce much smoke. One last comment I'd like to add.. the woman narrating this video has a lovely voice!

how natural is morning star? I mainly collect sandalwoods and agarwoods. but due to the expense and rarity I cannot and will not burn jinko or Byakudan regularly.

I burn this incense at home it is great not overpowering and it slowly feels the room with the aroma, great incense.
