Just played this for the first time today. Enjoyed it, the meeple mechanism is very unique. Turns are quick, which I like. Then we played Tiletum, which I play every chance I can get.

Looks like an incredibly strategic game. The meeple drafting mechanism alone opens up all kinds of options. Wonderful game.

I loooove that meeple mechanism. unfortunately I am so bad in this game, it's too much for me, so I ended up gifting it to a friend of mine.

Yeah, such an underrated gem. You still have a crown jewel to inspect though from WYG, Madeira. That one should land in the top 20, maybe even top 10, I consider it their Trajan :D

You did a review on signorie. Wich one do you prefer? I think signorie is good, didnt play nippon but nippon seems a bit heavier

I like them about the same. Signorie outranks Nippon by a few spots.
