I lived in Nishi-Ogikubo for 4 years, but was here often since it was walking distance from home, and I often would come here to get the Maranouchi line train to go to Ginza. These videis always bring back fond memories of a place I really miss. At 10:53 when you emerge from the stairs, on the right is an entrance/exit to a temple area, which I always walked through and would come out of to walk down the same street you did

新宿からずっと中央線の数百ｍ南に居た青梅街道が、荻窪手前でぐーっと北上しまして、中央線と交差、以後、JRからどんどん遠ざかりつつ青梅へ至る…というのが私は納得できまへん。 それと、荻窪の盛り場は北口か南口かも分からんし。
