Nipsey is one of those rare artists in your lifetime and when you listen to his music it’s not something you want to share with everybody unless they’re on that level. He was therapeutic, and the music you blast when you in your zone creatively and peacefully by yourself. Observation: in his interviews a year ago, before his album dropped, and even leading up to his Grammy nod, he was excited, smiling, full of life. In the interviews he did in March, just weeks before his death, he looked tired, stressed, sad even. I read somewhere that he was probably getting threats around that time. Heartbreaking.
