Hmm...infact i am an indian and that manthra is in indian language sanskrit. And it is not manthra it is stotra...means praising the mother god. but, it is not problem for you, you can read in english and prounounce as how they do. But,,if it is a manthra,,,we have to be carefull in pronounciation..it produced lot of cosmic vibration too. So....jst think on mother God. [ of course, we indians believe every mother is god only, because her power of creation, and the world is created by feminine energy,,,it is mother God.} so,,,,you can sit and just you can chant...ADI SHAKTHI...NAMO NAMO...many times. its enough. It is not shakti,,,,it is shakthi. Thank you friend...dnt feel sad for anything. God is always with you for ever....tc

I have following questions 1) can man chant this mantra? 2)Does this mantra need specific seating position or just one can simply chant this mantra by folding one's hand in front of god? and if one simply chant by folding hand then will it give good effect ?

Dhruv Patel I only can answer the first question. “When a woman chants this mantra, she connects with her essence as the embodiment of Universal Mother Energy, which is always available to serve her. When a man chants it, he can connect directly to Divine Mother and release his earthly mother wounds and attachments” (Guru Rattana, “Gift of Womanhood”). Sincere practice of this mantra clears the path, takes away misfortunes, and brings abundance and security. So, when we are connected with the Feminine Force, will find that she attracts what she needs, magnetizing favorable circumstances and things just falling into her lap.
