I'm surprised you're not on the Helping Bonus hype train. If you had a team of Pokémon with it and Helping Speed M they'd all go insane with their collections. +20-25% production rate is pretty impactful!
@nirtheart7 ай бұрын
Helping Speed up Caps at 35% so to an extent I'm not too hyped about it no haha. It's definitely good, but if you have Helping Speed M + Helping Speed S + Speed Up nature you're already at 31% and can really only make use of a single Helping Bonus on the team, or two if you don't have Helping Speed S. The related sub skills for each specialty is way more important, like Berry Finding S for Berry Pokémon, or Ing Finder M + nature for ing Pokémon AND THEIR ING LIST. I'll take a good ing list over HB anytime. For Skill Specialists I do generally prefer Skill Up M and Skill trigger M with nature up. Isn't really much space then for HB unfortunately.

Love the videos only thing I’d like is that the frequency and other values change when you put in the sub skills. Now it sounds good but I really can’t see the value of the subskills. But keep up the good work!
@nirtheart7 ай бұрын
The frequency is dependent on the level of the Pokémon, too, and I don't know the exact ways the game calculates all the variables, so to be on the safe side I'd say it's best to discuss the values as presented. You won't find the perfect Pokémon with all the perfect sub skill seeds and nature combo either, so either way it comes down to trade offs and analysis of the factors. Thanks for watching!

@@nirtheart ah yes of course, that makes sense. Hoped it was possible in your widget to show how much the sub skills affect the numbers. But I suppose level and if you evolved it are also factors to consider

@@Midorilifee it's a good idea, I'll keep it in mind. I just don't know if I trust my calculations lol

Thank you so much!! Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the correction

At 5:48 ingredient specialists* not berry specialists - Ik it’s a misspeak lol but just as a friendly note for the newer players watching
@nirtheart7 ай бұрын
Haha yeah!!! Ingredients specialists you want to catch first Stage, while for Berry Specialists doing any Stage is fine. Thanks!!

Maybe a dumb question but how do I know what ingredients I want. You say to focus on the ingredients list and that's what's most important, but spend most of the video talking about natures and subskills instead. What makes a good ingredient list good?
@nirtheart5 ай бұрын
This video is specifically about sub skills and natures that in general are good for ingredient specialists. I have made a dedicated playlist of videos called "Ingredient Deep Dive" where I cover every ingredient specialist in its own video and discuss their ingredient lists

I really enjoy this game, but the learning curve is so steep and the vids I’ve seen are kinda all over the place with teaching the ins and outs. What would be helpful would be just a straight forward video where it was like “okay, so for ing mon, here’s all the different natures.” And then rank them from best to worst. And do the same for berry and skill mon. Then do the same thing for sub skills. When it’s a situation like this vid where you start getting into different mon and talking about what ing you want, the information gets confusing because there’s too much to keep track of.

Glad to hear you are enjoying Pokémon Sleep! What part of the video did you find confusing? I can recommend you to have a look at my "Ingredient Deep Dive" playlist and see if perhaps that is more of the bite sized content you are looking for. This video in specific was intended to give a brief overview, and give some threads to follow based on where your curiosity takes you

With ingredient specialists, it is the ingredients you are looking for though so to an extent that part can't be a roadblock in learning to play the game. Then you may just want to focus on Berry specialists first and learn more about ingredients and cooking later
@nirtheart5 ай бұрын
Generally speaking: Berry specialists want helping Speed UP and ingredients DOWN nature. Ingredient specialists want ingredients UP or speed UP nature Skill specialists want skill chance UP and not speed or skill chance down

A lot about Pokémon Sleep is learned through chatting with people too because then you can ask specific questions about what exactly you are looking to learn. My community is paid access, but Brovinnie for example has a great community free public access. Both are great options
