I have tried to help inform you of the kind of person Kurt Cobain was. I have shared scriptures showing you what you should do. These have not seemed to work. You see, it doesn’t really matter what you think, what your Dad thinks, What Grandpa thinks, or what I think. The only thing that matters is what Jesus thinks. Jesus said “If a person is evil, they can only make evil things. But if a person is good, they can only make good things”. That is a Jesus fact. So, when someone says that all they want to do is “get stoned and worship Satan” or desecrates a Church by spray painting “Abort Christ” on it. When someone sets fire to Church property and actually gets kicked out and banned from a city because of Church desecration, does that show he is Evil or good? If it shows he is Evil than the Jesus fact is that He can ONLY make evil things. There are consequences for our actions. If we know the evil heart of someone and we choose to continue to listen to, play and promote that person, there must be consequences for these actions. So, if you are going to continue to play Kurt Cobain music, then I will have to insist that you take my guitar and my amp and return them to Grandpa. You see, if I allow you to use my things to promote evil, then I am just as guilty and I will have to face consequences as well. I just hope and pray that this small consequence is the only one you have to face. We have to make choices, our choice shouldn’t be for the popular culture, for rock stars, for movies stars or anyone else, our choice needs to be Jesus.
