The best sounding version of this album I own is the 3LP 45RPM 20th Anniversary.. Said by Steve himself to have been directly cut from the master tapes at Abby Road. One of the best sounding records in my collection. I got it when it came out, unfortunately they are pricy now used

I got the 2013 45 RPM Mix, the one with the black cover, and I think that sounds very good!!! I won it at a WhatNot Bid for $36, and it's a good price for that!!!

At 10:14 that was the vinyl sleeve for the original release, I have mine still it is a clear light blue vinyl record. I love this set. They played in Denver that tour as well, I was there.

i was going to comment the same. Yep its the same insert as the original vinyl release. Fun fact - in the nineties some record stores that sold records in addition to tapes & CDs would put on sale the vinyl release a week before the official tape/cd release date. I got many albums that way in the 90s - in untero, incesticide, siamese dream, Pod, Superunknown etc.

Great video. Really made the traditional "unboxing" video fun to watch. I'm so damn tempted to buy that set. I just wish there was more music to it that I didn't already have. The packaging for the set is great, just isn't enough to tempt me. The last album "big box set" re-releases I've been buying have been from the Beatles.

I just got the CD from barns and Noble. I have the original back from 93 but I love this album too much and I bought it again. So I have my old cd feom 93 and now the new one from 23.

I just came across the limited edition white/clear version of this album from its original release date at a thrift shop. Paid $1. Its still sealed-ish. Some of the plastic shrink on the front has come off but the sides are still sealed.

I love the smell of vinyl in the morning. I wish they would have done something more creative with the coloring but, oh well, whatever, nevermind. I remember getting the 20th anniversary box set and loved it. Not realizing the angel on the cover that was sideways was a magnet for the longest time. 🤦🏼‍♂

Did you ever get to see the band? Saw them in the U.K. on the Nevermind tour at a club in Manchester.Then saw them at the Reading Festival headlining. Was meant to see them on this album in the U.K.,but we know what happened.

There's people who are still butthurt about Nirvana killing off their beloved hair metal. Thats why those same people say Soundgarden and Alice in Chains were the only good grunge bands. They really hate Cobain's singing and vocals and probably hate his guitar playing as well.

The boxset looks very well made. Happy that they are one of your favourite bands of alltime but please dont take offense to this but personally i cant stand them and think they are so overated. I guess life would be boring if we all liked the same stuff right. I am guessing it was pretty expensive but well worth it to fans😃🤘
