i think lithium should have been played for the unplugged show
@robertmohammed397310 жыл бұрын
He's performing live on a radio station, before nevermind was released.. The lyrics aren't finished yet. Plus his voice wasn't as deep and raspy like it would be a few years after this.
@ironmaidenfan6667011 жыл бұрын
This IS Kurt. you can tell by the way he screams 'hey';he sings from his stomach. and Dave's voices is much deeper than Kurt's.....coming from a Nirvana and Foo Fighter fan.

God. You just hear so much more in these solo acoustic versions than you hear in the studio versions. He is just so expressive, so personal. Now, the studio versions are still some of the greatest stuff ever recorded, but these are so much better.
@CleCleHavez11 жыл бұрын
and btw, kurt always changed the lyrics to songs. he got bored of doing the same thing repeatedly
@pedrodelrei11 жыл бұрын
Or maybe that's because he was too high to remember the lyrics

Pedro Guimaraes kurt had more brain cells still after being fucked up than most people though. little of y our scenario, but mostly probably focusing on the music and getting caught by the music before words.
@xTHExCOPYx8 жыл бұрын
+odiumimbues pretty sure he had no brain cells after he blew his head off.

I bought the with the lights out box set and I like these solos as if not (if not more) then the actual album versions. So inspiring. Sounds like he could just pick up any guitar and strum any chord and sound amazing doing it.

It is Kurt, and if there skeptical people then you should go look for the version where you can listen to the whole broadcast it was recorded in 1990 for KAOS FM, in that version you can hear the host Calvin Johnson introducing him saying "here is Kurt Cobain from Aberdeen" and after ome words he starts playing Opinion and then Lithium

Fair enough, I'm just saying, disliking something doesn't make it bad. For instance, I LOVE Nirvana, they're one of my favorite bands ever, but I think that Amy Lee can sing circles around Kurt any day of the week. Doesn't mean I like them more or less than each other.

@JaCkMiChEaLs0n But at that time it's what he wanted. If he felt the recording was pure shit the final product wouldn't have been on Nevermind. It's not just that it's Kurt singing it. It's that we keep in mind what it has become. If you've ever seen anything of the band live he sounds like this. It's raw and it's what he sounded like live. We can't know what Kurt wanted to be out there. Have you ever heard "Spantk Through" or "Ain't it a shame"? It's all different noone knows what he wanted ou
