These types of really eerie and ghostly haunted melodies is one of the things that sets Kurt apart. I can sort if find the melodies in harder stuff like Melvins but nothing in the quiter more eerie way that Kurt did it. It's haunted sounding. In a far its a far extention of way erlier rock songs with almost eerie dorian mode like California Dreaming or Nights in White Satin
