He sang other people's lyrics much clearer, maybe because they were not his feelings. He seemed to blur his own lyrics when he sang them, maybe because they were very raw and hit him hard, I don't know but he always seemed to be a little apprehensive about sharing such deep emotions of his own, seemed he couldn't do anything else though because he felt everything on such a deep level. But that's what gave us the poetry. Miss him still. Thanks for giving Gen X a voice Kurt, we were all a bit sick and tired of the baggage we inherited and the world's injustices too.

Nirvana was the band that introduced me to alternative rock they changed the way I thought, dressed, and acted. For me time is measured in before kurts death and after .today taylor Hawkins died it brought me back to April 1994. @Darrenski Жыл бұрын
Yeah dave the serial killer kabalist must have been crushed. And with each death his own lame band score a nice peak in sales. Funny how all the old grunge guys are dead, all but satanist grohl and confessed satanist Eddie vedder. And before you start Kurt was never friends with grohl, he couldn't stand the man. And oh yeah, grohl the sympathy whore also lost his mother. How on earth will a middle aged millionaire cope with such a loss.. I'm guessing the same way I did minus the money. Grohl is the biggest phoney in the music business. I'd do a a little research on him before you put him on a pedestal. He's a fake and a terrible actor. Don't bother reading the early books after Kurt's death..instead watch the documentary the PI Courtney Love hired to provide her with an alibi. But being an ex cop he smelled something wasn't right. And he actually did his job properly proving that almost certainly Love had him murdered, he knows who pulled the trigger and why. I'm guessing they haven't shown that documentary stateside considering how many Americans still buy the official story despite the events in the inquest are physically impossible. Plus if you bought a gun with the sole purpose of killing yourself would you buy a .22, designed to kill rats! And it was very responsible of Kurt to shoot himself in the head and still put the lid back on the needle and put his used works in his little safe box. But the best bit of all was when courtney (when I grow up I want to be able to read) Love actually read the last part of his very convincing suicide letter and she expects ppl to believe one of the most talented and original artists of the 90s would finish a suicide note with the most corny cliche of all time... 'its better to burn out than to fade away'... the most unoriginal, cringe, totally, un-kurt like words even spoken.

Kurt's contribution to modern music was profound, he really re-defined rock culture , bringing the underground "Grunge" scene to the masses, legendary and his music is the soundtrack of my life.

This one from unplugged is underrated in my opinion. Definitely one of my favorite of the covers done there.

Probably my favorite Nirvana song. I was surprised I never heard it as a teen in the 90s, but not until like 2016 when sitting in my car. Caught me off guard with how existential it is. You have exceptional taste in music if you're here.

one of the best! It was the first song I learned to play and sing on guitar long time ago when I was younger :) After 20 years I have still playing that because people want to hear that. Love it

The brilliant sound of the guitar comes from the guitarist using a coin as a pick 2:55

dudes using a quarter, or maybe another type of coin altogether. it is a touchy alternative to a pick, honestly.

It's 5:20am. The world outside is riddled with sickness and panic. My lilac purple curtains are turning just a little brighter. The birds have sung their first melody of the day, right as the guitars were strumming their last strums. The music has ended, but the feeling I got from this moment will last me forever.

The gift of God can take you to the highest level in life so that you can show the people what He gave you But it can also bring you down. I miss this guy. Kind of like what Layne Stayley went through. I get a bad ass feeling when I listen to both of them guys. I think there will never be gifted and blessed guys like this again

You can tell he really didn't know how beautiful he was inside and out and I'm very glad in his life Courtney let him know that. My heart still breaks for him I was 6 when he offed himself but my older brothers always watched MTV so I vividly remember the world premiere of smells like teen spirit and even though he was gone my brothers always loved Nirvana which then became my love as well.
