​@HP-mu4nc I don't know how many African people go to a chutney show, but a) I went a soca-chutney concert last year with various artist and there was a whole chutney, and every manjack of every race knew the songs lol word for word. B) growing in Trinidad same. In school everybody knew all the words. Africans like Chutney. Why they don't show up to the concerts... is a good question and I'm sure there is room for improvement, but the answer has nothing to do with whether we enjoy Indian culture because we do. But also acknowledge that there are things Indians and Africans will enjoy of each culture and things that we won't. But most i know admire the Indian arts.
