Needless to say that sur(Notation) and taal(Rhythm) is the essence of the ghazal gayiki ! What a lethal combination it was ! How beautifully did Hariharan Saab and Jakir Hussain Saab complement and supplement each other ! Beautiful 'lafz', coupled with beautiful 'mosiki' and 'bemisaal' gayiki, had paved the way for a 'lajabab' ghazal ! Regarding the singing attributes of Hariharan Saab, it's the least said, the better ! He himself is his own introduction ! Tablanawaz Ustad Jakir Hussain Saab needs no mention ! He is a musician par excellence and is in a class by himself ! Hats off to both of these stalwarts for this soulful presentation !
