Hacivat is much more refined and smoother, with a different tone. They both open with a pineapple note, but it ends there.

Thanks for doing this video first! This was one of the most exciting things I saw from your posts about Esxence! Definitely blind buying Ani X, I know for sure I will love it and I want it in my collection because Ani is one of my favorite vanillas. Wulong Cha X also sounds really good. When I first tried Ani it was the perfect vanilla to me and the zinginess only accented that. After I got my bottle and wore it more that vegetalness really turned meoff and I fell out of love! So I need to try Ani X for sure!

Im excited about Hacivat X. Curious to see if there is any comparison to Aventus Cologne, similar to how Hacivat gets comparisons to the original Aventus.

Aventus Cologne is peppery citrus. Hacivat X is stronger Pineapple, and creamier. They aren’t that similar despite lots of common notes.

Hello Greta! I’m a day late in watching this video but now I’m really excited. The way you described Ani is exactly how I feel about it, I have a 15ml travel spray of Ani that I’ve been trying to finish foe over 2 years, but it’s hard for me to wear it. I find layering it with HSW and other vanillas tend to make me enjoy it more, so like you I have a love-hate relationship with it. So now with your description of Ani X, I think I will finally get a full size bottle. Also the way you described Wulong Cha X and Hacivat X will make me buy them too. My husband is the only one that enjoys Hacivat now and Wulong Cha is beautiful but underwhelming to my nose, so the X versions seemed more like my cup of tea. As for HSW, I will still prefer the original because it’s more feminine. Thank you Greta!!! This video is super helpful!🥰😊💕

I know that Ani will be good too. I just think I am going to hold off for a while because I won't use the original if I have the new one. Thank you again for this video. I hope that Nishane continues to treat you well in the future. I can think of a few houses that owe you and would be wise to do the right thing and court you. It will be interesting to see with your decant shop if you get more positive attention or if they back off because you are selling decants.

I had hopes for the Wulong Cha "X" version, but this reminds me of the layering I used to do with it and Agua Colonia - sweet clean lemon with a few herbs, HSW original is in my arsenal, but has to be layered, as you're right it just comes off as too femme. I absolutely love Ani for winter. I live on the East Coast and I spend a lot of time in the woods and forests and that's what the opening reminds me of. However, I cannot wear Ani in hot or warm weather. I'm intrigued by Ani X and I'm wondering if it can be worn in the warmth. What do you think? Also, I guess I'm in the minority because I do not like Hundred Silent Ways, so maybe I would like X version.

After this video I took my wulong cha and added navitus siesta drive to it to see how it smelled and then tried it with zara a sweet pastry in paris.liked both combos.glad I watched the video gave me the idea to mix wulong cha with lemon fragrances. 😊❤totally want to try ani x.i like hundred silent ways the way it is.

I love Wulong Cha, but I felt it was missing a lil something, as well, so I’ve always layered it with YSL Ultime, giving it a little ginger/ rose/ cedar kick, or with Swedoft Royal Satisfaction for a spicy, woody, light Oud kick.

I was interested in Ani X but I’m not sure I can get past the herbal phase you mentioned. I have 100 Silent Ways and Ani. I intend to buy Wulong, but I just purchased State of Mind Spontaneous Generosity, another tea scent (I have Winter Palace and Hammersmith and Biscuits) so that purchase will have to wait! I’m extremely curious to try the Wulong Cha and Hacivat. Without the trademark moss, it’s hard to conceive of what it will be like. I will say though I’m a bit irritated they had to throw the orange blossom in. That’s a note that can ruin scents for me when it’s syrupy. I think magnolia would’ve been a more interesting complementary floral to use because of its citrusy aspect.

I am going to get a sample of Ani X because I cant understand how the fragrance will be something more than a strong generic vanilla without the herbaceuous quality. I do find the herbal note overpowering in the original, but I can't really picture the perfume without it.

I ordered the X version of Wulong Cha and Hundred Silent Ways and will open and try them this week. I felt pretty confident blind buying, but let's see. My blind buy track record is only about 10% that I truly dislike so I am excited to test out my new bottles.

I really think I might have to pull the trigger on Ani X - especially since from wear today (and your comment), that I could wear it in this season/warmer weather and I really love what they did with it (as I too couldn’t jive with Ani…bought a bottle and ended up giving it to my husband to finish the bottle). The rest of them in the set are nice but not a buy for me with already having most all the originals in my collection and liking the original more or equally. I just wish I could pull off either of the Hacivats but I see I’ll have to keep letting my husband rock it - as I love it on him. Anywho, always fun to chat fragrances!

@@firefighteremt25 hi there! I’m happy to share my 2 cents as of course people differ in what they’re getting from the line. My thoughts are: - Hacivat X is def dialed back w/ the oak moss and relative notes (very familiar with the original as my husband is on the second or third bottle of it). I was hoping X would be wearable for me but it’s still not unfortunately. But I do see the remix on this flanker. - Ani X is a def a noticeable difference and removes some of that medicinal (or overtly herbal) accord/smell/vibe. This one def makes it wearable for me (owned the original and gave it to my husband). I will not buy it now during summer, while prices are high and due to me having many vanillas in my collection that I really enjoy. I am considering it for fall. - Fan Your Flames…I don’t own the original but familiar with it. I think I prefer the original but I’d love to do a side by side since I’m not as intimately familiar with this one. But I enjoyed wearing the sample. Wulong Cha X is nice but not different enough to justify a purchase (for me) - as I’m on my second bottle of the original. And I don’t prefer 100 Silent Ways X…the smokey addition aren’t to my liking - I own the original (that one is nice but won’t be a repurchase for me based on other fragrances on my collection and my overall fragrance journey.) Those are my thoughts - I hope this is helpful!
