Generally, Liquidity is how quickly an Asset can be exchanged for Cash. Market Liquidity : Liquidity in the context of stock markets means a market where large orders can be executed w/o incurring a High Transaction Cost. The availability of buyers & sellers determines the liquidity of a market. Impact Cost is an effecient measure to gauge the liquidity of a security. Higher Impact Cost , Lower is the Liquidity . Price discovery means fair market value of the share but when less quantity are traded then it is easy to manipulate the share however if the no of volume is high then the price discovery is done on a fair basis

i was holding a share of VBL at that time... huge profit booked on that day.. i was suprised and curious about the reason for huge inflow in that stock... as far i remembers it was because of their excellent q2 results (60-70%+) qoq. Also msci is morgan stanley not morrning star. Correct me if i am wrong
