Div is paid after deduction of ddt and under present scenario div paid out amt is also taxable .so taxation is levied twice, once by the company and next stage while submitting i-tax return meaning the div option is cutting capital gain in both the ways . Query: is this practice of double taxation is permissible undet the laws of this country ?
