Hi, can you please solve this with an explanation of this question? price to earning ratio is 10, the price to book value ratio is 5, book value per share is rs15, and outstanding shares are 10000. calculate the return on equity?

Price / book value = Current market price / book value P/BV is given i.e 5 and book value is also given i.e 15 So, current market price will be 5×15 = 75. Next price/Earning ratio = Current market price/ Earning per share (EPS) P/E is given i.e 10 and Current market price we calculated i.e 75 So, EPS will be 7.5 Then formula for return on equity = EPS/BV ×100 So ROE= 7.5/15×100 = 50%
