If you got the problem with the car going in wheelie, just put suspension level 2 and it will prevent your car from going in wheelie (for the 240sx)

How do i use the 240sx for drag? It only lets me use it for grip? Also im terrible at drag, i can never get past 5th place and always around 12-13 second time. I normally always miss the second shift. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you want to use the 240sx for drag then you got to go to your garage and go to the 240sx. Don't click on it. There should be a button saying that you can change something, it should be something like square or triangle (sorry havent played in a while now so Idk it out of my head). If you click that it comes up with a message saying that if you convert the car to drag then all your modifications will disappear. (So if you would like to keep Ryan Coopers car as the way it looks then you cant change it to drag nor change its looks as it would delete its livery etc.) Once you have changed to drag you can start modifying it. I assume you are still at a very low stage so you wont have the money to get as much upgrades so it wont let you tune it as much as in this video. Basically this video is almost useless at the moment. For how to beat drag races: It is really simple. First you keep the burnout within the green bar by either repeatedly pressing R2 or holding R2. (My controller isnt good enough to hold R2 at a certain spot so I got to repeatedly press R2) Then at the countdown either you can put it in first gear already and then just press R2 at the start or you wait until the stary and then upshift by moving the right stick (R3) up and press R2 to drive. Try to hold/time it so that before you upshift yiu had your throttle already in the green bar as it should give a bettee start. Then for wvery shiff just try to shift up at the green bars. It is all about timing there. If your car has nitrous you got to figure out when the best time is to press circle for nitrous to get the most out of your boost. Thanks for your advice. Also, If i tell you what i do, maybe it will help you see the problem...What i do is hold the accelerator down, put it in 1 when green, keep holding accelerator and try to quickly put it 2, then 3, then 4, and when i switch to 5 use nitrous. I keep the accelerator flat out constantly from the start. Most the time i miss 2nd as the accelerator moves so fast, but 3, 4 and 5 i can do ok. But when i dont miss 2nd im always about 12.5 seconds still. I haven't changed any tuning settings on the car.

@@atrio1136 I think all you can do is get the timing right, thats all but 12 seconds sounds like the right time so you're doing it right

@@ramiz53 It's the Colbalt SS I'm using for drag, is that why i keep doing bad on the 1/4 mile tracks? Surprisingly i did the longer drag track and came 1st, but always do bad on the shorter ones.

@@atrio1136 the cobalt is a very slow car, I know you got it from the drag event. The 1/2mile races are pretty easy always. Depending where you're at tho you might just be versing harder opponents like Wade Jackson or Joe tackett who always get like 11 second runs. Your cobalt unless you tune it wont get better than 12 seconds unless you go all stage 3 then you could get 10-11 seconds maybe. Haven't tried thaf but I knoe the civic still is really slow with all stage 3 so Im basing it on that. If you wanna save money and are able to dominate the events even if you cant win the drag races then keep the cobalt otherwise get a different car. Im guessing you are getting better at drag now tho? Or you still struggling with second gear
