What are/were the symptoms? I get p0300 rough idle, lack of power, but it’s as if it comes and goes. I’ll be checking this ASAP.

Basically the same as you described. Sometimes the car ran fine, other times it did not. Just follow the negative cable down to where it bolts onto the transmission and pull it. It also has a small ground coming off it, which bolts to the inner fender underneath the battery tray. If you remove the battery and battery tray you'll see everything a lot better.

So my 2007 Nissan Altima goes limp mode but no transmission issues. When it happens the abs and traction control lights come up but have no clue what to do.

I have a Nissan fronteir 2006 p0300 change coil spart the catilistic presure sensor altenator and still hope is that the you taking about.

It comes from the negative battery terminal. It literally attaches from the negative battery post to the transmission and also on the body, which unfortunately I didn't show.
