Nissan Cube 2010 CVT Transmission Dip Stick

Thanks Driver Guy. You have helped a lot of us friend, Shame on Nissan for not making it obvious. As much as I am a fan of Nissan, I cannot afford the Transmission maintenance plan they offer on all of the Nissans I own. Liquid Gold transmission oil $$$$ and a set up that you have to bring it to the dealer for oil replacement.

For anyone who's tried this, Driver Guy is spot on that it's a pain in the rear. My big fat hands couldn't get in there without moving some stuff out fo the way like he did.

Nice video! Thanks for helping out those how can't find it. (Besides being vertical in part of it.,lol). Only thing is the lock clip on the dipstick is to securly lock it in place to prevent contaminants from entering the transmission.

Wouldn't it be nice if those who developed this model Cube tranny were taken out in public and then caned for making something so critical to check a true pain in the ass to do so?

So does those top covers even do anything or they're just there for the style bec if not I want to get rid of those so I can have an easy access on the dipstick

Those aren't covers. Those are air intake routing tubes.
