Nissan Elgrand E51 2006. how to play media and mirror device onto vehicle screens. (Part 1)

I used the same hdmi converter, but added a chromecast and another bluetooth unit on a hdmi 2way switch. ( the bluetooth module required the opposite module RCA in to hdmi out, and added a filter to remove a bit of noise) Phone is on a quad lock on windscreen plugged into charger, Can cast anything to screen or play music on the bluetooth. The factory bluetooth receives phone calls so can still cut out all other sound sources when receiving a phone call. In my series 3 2008 elgrand the firmware for the factory bluetooth has issues with the latest cellphones and when playing music cuts out after 5mins or so. Have also added the english conversion and the front screen came altered from japan so can watch while driving. Fitted a band expander to radio and now have all the comforts I need. All wires are hidden and all looks clean and factory still.

Tidy install! You can charge with wireless Qi phone holder or pad for your phone! Any tips on forcing the screen to 16:9? I did this and it's a bit rough dealing with it conformking to 4:3 when the on screen text/menu disappears. Wondering if you added the foot brake bypass? Would love a video on the install of that.

Hi 1:20mins into this video you ran a usb power cable up vertically, was that easily done? love this BTW as going to do this except my upscaler will sit in the shelf below the steeringwheel

Hi i have seen android adapters that plug into ur mobile an it has hdmi port, type c port (for charging) as well as a usb port. Do you think this would work ?. Just got to get the output an inputs right on both sides???.

Hi just bought same setup just temp plugged it in ,in the back,on the usb port i havnt run to front iv just put put a Amazon fire stick in,having the colour lines come up on screen but that’s were I’m stuck were do I go from there unfortunately I don’t have the standard stereo in

I am in the same situation 🫤 My E51 came with a Carozzeria stereo and I cannot switch the input to select the back RCA connection

Iv put a new double din stereo in now,put the converter in the back all working good now
