I upgraded my alternator to an 80 Amp one but only was reading 55-58 at full draw on my clamp meter. I reckon the cables does need an upgrade then ... Did you upgrade the two ground cables ?

No change to any other cables apart from the main charge cable

Which ground cables are you referring to? The main battery earth cables already have a decent sized

@@Shanes_Shed In my neck of the woods we call them ground cables but down under you guys call it earth cables. The alternator earth, battery to body and battery to engine. Those look just as thin as the OEM positive cable. Was thinking to upgrade all of them.

@@dunklik6089 generally I refer them as negative and positive. Anyway I have no issues with the battery to engine negative cable as that one is fairly beefy. Battery to body could do with an upgrade but shouldn’t cause an issue with charging
