Nice work on that Nissan! Sharp truck! I am trying to find one myself. I know Nissan built it all metal in the 90s, hence the unofficial name for North American markets, 'Hardbody' but Nissan termed it D21. Question: how many variances for this Hardbody exist, that you know of between 90-97? Your vid states "DD Build"? Nissan uses acronyms for their models XE, SE for the D21 Hardbody.

+thecrowrains Well they were made 1986.5-1997 86.5-89 had the z24i engines 90-97 had the ka24e motor They also had a v6 verision 86.5-93 had the square dash interior There was a square bumper in the early models and round bumper in the late models They had a half dozen different grills 3 different hoods They had a single cab 6ft bed Extra cab 6ft bed And a single cab long bed

You know your stuff! Thank you! I am busy scouring craigslist, trying to find one myself. Lol "DD" is daily driver did not catch the jargon before. Your truck practically looks like it rolled out of the factory. Father used to own a 94 until the body rusted out; he liked the engine said it never leaked anything was a great little truck. Question: can the three different hoods you mentioned work for any of the 90-97 models? I might need to source craigslist for parts and whatnot.

yes almost all the hardbody parts and pathfinder parts can cross over!

Thank you! I have been seeing a lot of early to mid-90s Pathfinders in Craigslist. Question: Does the pathfinder have the same quality engine of the D21? I prefer a hardbody over the pathfinder since we need a DD to haul wood and general stuff around.

Are your bumpers plastic? I have a 1986 hardbody XE king cab 4x4, and they're chrome and steel...i think. cant check cuzzz of hurricane fucking florence...but i think they're metal

Nope the bumpers are steel besides the plastic top cap on the rear bumper. Stay safe.

Ya your really shouldn't lift or get bigger rims, because engineers really design wheel size to fit and work best with the truck, but if it's just a toy do what you want, if your gunna lower or lift, I may get black rims but they will be the same size as stock, usually stock rims are better built, every day driver I'd keep as stock as possible for reliability.
