I have a 6 speed manual version from 2017, and 06:27 is exactly why I'd never swap to the 4x4 Nismo RS over my one. CVT transmission in this car always struck me as a weird choice, and look how sluggish it is. Mine shifts with much more urgency, as others have also said. I never knew the CVT version had fake gear changes too, that's hilarious!!!

From the U.S. 2015 juke sv,cvt, 188 hp stock. Fwd, awd, awd vectoring, 1.6 liter dig turbo. Added... Stillen performance rear anti swaybar. Tanabe front strut brace. Stillen catback 2.5 inch stainless exhaust.(total muffler delete) single pipe, and it does not "drone" it growls! Stillen x-pedal pro black edition throttle controller. Phenominal. Injen short ram intake. Powerstop drilled and slotted disc brakes(all 4 wheels)with ceramic brake pads. I'm not a modder by any means, but I made a fun car into a little beast. Turned 188 hp to roughly 220 hp. Isn't that nismo hp? And wait, a nismo is only Fwd. I'm putting all 4 wheels on the pavement, not to mention all wheel drive vectoring! Just sayin.. but I wish I had the recaro seats. I just may garage this car and actually build it. And this car is a f***ing rocket, I love the "wolf in sheep's clothing" effect. Long winded sorry, my point is, don't knock cvt juke, maybe you just don't know how to drive one and it IS an adjustment. Any one who owns a Juke knows they're special! By the way, I friggin love the wrap! Badass!

If you drive the Automatic CVT and then drive the 6 Speed manual you will see that it's like driving two completely different cars. The 6 speed RS has more horsepower and it is much faster then the CVT... If you're going to purchase any Juke make sure it's a manual transmission.

No, here in Mexico CVT its the only option since 2016. Only the 2012-2014 models came with standard 6+R. 😢

just one question please: It was driving in manual mode??? It should not shift like manual gearbox! Even in the Sport mode it should hold 7000rpm at high speeds all the time, am i right?? In Sport mode it should behave like in Normal mode at the end of video!

Vmax auf der Geraden musst du im 7. Gang fahren, bergab läuft der dann im 8. Gang auch weit über Tacho 220.

Wenn du auf die Sport-Taste drückst, schaltet er sequenziell zwischen den fest programmierten Übersetzungsverhältnissen, nur durch das Konstruktionsprinzip eben ohne Kraftschlussunterbrechung. Wie macht das Getriebe das denn? Also ich weiß es, du auch? Wir haben dieses Autochen sogar.

@@jenseits1392 nein. Es sind keine Gänge..💀 ein Gang ist ein mechanisches Zahnrad. Ein CVT Getriebe sucht sich die optimale Drehzahl aus und bleibt dort. Es zieht die "Gangwechsel". Es sind einfache zuglast Unterbrechungen.

Das CVT-Getriebe im Nismo RS fährt sich im Sport-Modus nicht anders wie ein extrem schnell schaltendes Automatikgetriebe in anderen Sportfahrzeugen, nur können die hydraulisch angesteuerten Kegelräder schneller in das nächste Übersetzungsverhältnis springen wie jedes normale Zahnradgetriebe schalten könnte, ruckfrei ohne spürbare Kraftschlussunterbrechung. Ich bin seit 14J. Kfz-Meister und bin schon sehr vieles gefahren, nur habe ich noch nie einen verlustfreieren Gangwechsel erlebt. Und da wird rein gar nichts "gezogen". Es sind 8 feste sequenzielle Übersetzungsverhältnisse von Nismo programmiert und die hält das Getriebe im Sportmodus, springt zwischen diesen auf und ab beim Gangwechsel. Es schaltet auch im Automatikfahrprogramm die festen Gänge sequentiuell durch. Nor im Normal- und Echo-Modus fährt das Auto im stufenlosen Übersetzungsverhältnis und hält die Motordrehzahl. Im Sport-Modus fährt der sich wie ein echter Sportwagen, nicht vergleichbar mit anderen CVT-Getrieben. Da ist eben auch Nismo RS drinne und das kann ich bescheinigen. I have a 2015 awd 1.6 liter cvt sv turbo. Fun car. I'm not a modder, but I recently added a Stillen catback, Injen shortram, Stillen rear antisway bar, Tanabe front strut bar, and turbosmart all aluminum diverter valve with powerstop drilled and slotted rotors with all ceramic pads. Turned this juke into a beast, nismo worthy!

Not really ‘fake’. The cvt can give you ratios , just like a gearbox gives you ratios. Instead of ‘gears’ it uses ‘pulleys’ to ultimately give you a ratio to drive in.
