What do you recommend Nissan Magnite Automatic CVT or Kia Sonet Automatic CVT ? Some say Nissan has a bad reputation for CVT is getting issues in transmission any thoughts about that ? Thanks
@MotorScribesАй бұрын
That’s a good question, but overall the Kia works out as a better choice. The Magnite is very good, but feature for feature, the Kia Sonet is better. As for just the CVT tech…the Magnite is reliable. We didn’t face any issues with it on our long term tests.

Thank you so much for this video. Considering buying the Magnite CVT. Currently drive the Jazz CVT. Have to do a lot of highway driving with some stretches of terrible roads. Would appreciate your view on the Magnite being the best vehicle, considering the good ground clearance and suspension. Thank you.

Hi, the new Magnite is a big improvement! I would definitely consider it and would encourage you to also take it for a test drive. Looks better, has a better cabin and a few tweaks to NVH levels too…

@@MotorScribes Thank you for replying. I have done the test drive and completely agree with your views!!! I'm also considering the Citroen C3 Shine Automatic. Would you be able to guide me as to which would be better? Thank you so much.

I really appreciate you doing this video. I have a couple of questions. How were the brakes? And did you feel any need for more power during the ride, so you had to press the accelerator harder?
@MotorScribes3 ай бұрын
Thank you! Yes, this was a more extreme way to test performance in the hills. On some corners- because of the incline coupled with a lot of traction loss in the dirt, I did feel the power drop and I had to give it more gas..but that was it. Overall it powered up the steep climb better than some other cars! Brakes were more than adequate…but in the dirt you have to be careful..not just in the Magnite, but any car for you will lose traction…

Can i consider magnite Turbo CVT in 2024 ? Or i have to wait or go with another vehicle, what about nissan future in india, If I’m planning to buy, should i use this vehicle seamless at least 10,12 years. Could you please reply me ? Thank in advance

Nissan is committed to India. They are launching new products like the X Trail. The turbo CVT is a good choice and will last you a long time. Go for it!

How was the suspension during this drive? Was there any situation scrapped out bottom
@MotorScribes8 ай бұрын
The suspension is actually one of the highlights of the Magnite. It does a brilliant job of giving you a cushioned ride, yet allows the vehicle to have impeccable handling. Out here on the dirt track it did a great job of dealing with the ruts and uneven terrain. I didn’t get jostled around like you would in a typical SUV. As for the ground clearance- it was more than adequate for this particular track.

Can you please tell us about sitting position... Is it like commanding suv kind ? Also please tell about rubber band effect in this cvt ... Thanks
@MotorScribes3 ай бұрын
Seating is a little upright but relaxed…like what you would get as a mix of a sedan and SUV style seating. The CVT is one of the best I’ve driven in the business! Minimal rubberband effect and coupled with the turbo engine it is a very peppy vehicle for its class! The new Magnite is now available and it comes with even more features and better interiors. Do check it out if you are interested:)

With full load also it will perform similarly?
@MotorScribes3 ай бұрын
Fully loaded, it would take a little longer and I honestly wouldn’t bash it on a muddy hillside…but on a steep Tarmac road it would do the job. That turbo engine is really good!

Better than brezza?
@MotorScribes10 ай бұрын
Good question! The Magnite sits in a segment that is one size lower than the Brezza, so comparing them is like apples and oranges. However, if you had to choose between a base model Brezza which roughly the same price as a top model Magnite - then the Magnite would be the choice. You’d only sacrifice a little on space, but you would get more features.

@@MotorScribesI own 2023 magnite turbo Manual topend . How are you saying magnite is lower segment than Brezza ? Both are under sub4m segment .Many people are misguiding like this .I need to know the answer. Please reply sir Space wise magnite/ Kiger are one of the best in this segment eventhough the width is smaller in paper. Space management is awesome compared to Korean and German cars
