The extraction kit you have used in this video is listed as "front" bearing kit and the smallest bearing diameter is 54mm. The rear bearings are only 52mm. This kit is only £45 on ebay. The cheapest wider range kit is about 60. I have ordered a larger range set for 70 as I intend to sell it after I have used it. Great video; Thanks.

Probably a good idea to refit the road wheel loosely, then lower the vehicle before trying to undo the hub nut (the wheel centre caps just clip on, or just remove your wheel trims if fitted). Jumping up and down on a breaker bar with the car on stands is not a great idea. Other than that, great vid!

point taken - but the nut is at 120 lbsft so only a bit more than removing a properly torqued wheel nut so no "jumping up and down" was really required as you can see by me tightening the new one - but as always "safety first!" so safer is better as you say.

Or leave the handbrake on when loosening the hub nut then taking it back off before taking the brake drum off.

You didn't put any pressure on the ABS ring when pulling the new bearing in? I have both the bearing puller kit and and a 10 ton press, so equipped to do the Micra bearing. This looks an easy job, having done different types of bearings. Good video.

No, no pressure on the abs ring. The casting extends past it so only pushing on the metal of the casting

The nyloc nut is 30mm on my Note. As clearly stated in the video at 2m55.

Shouldnt the bearing be fitted to the hub not the drum. The drum should come off seperate to the bearing simply by backing off the shoes with the adjuster....?

no not in this case, the bearing is a tight fit inside the drum and needs pressing in

I think you mean the locking wheel nut - this is a security device - you take it off with an adapter shaped to fit it.

Yeah but i have lost the key and was looking around for a different way to open it i foun one that we can open it with 12 point socket but i am not sure what size socket will be good for it
